It is a good size and it keeps my coffee warm well. It is not leak-proof. I tried to take it in the car with me to work one day when my normal travel mug was not available and while most of my coffee made the trip, the mug doesn't fit in the cup holder and it spilled some even with the lid closed. I like the closing mechanism.
