Have had this for a few months and use it now and then to make sure it is charged and will work. The solar cell array and the way it charges is okay. I mean I set the radio at the western side window to get as much sun as possible to keep the battery charged. Winding the thing is a work out. The reception is okay and the controls work well considering the size and makeup of this radio. The siren scared the hell out of me the first time I used it and the other items work fine also. The flash light the reading light are bright and throw a strong beam. One down side is that when first turned on the led that indicate battery strength will cause distortion of reception until they go out. But then the radio does well. The weather feature is good and with the antenna I receive many of my local stations loud and clear. Light weight and small size make this a good item to use when working in my shop or in an emergency.

Smaller than what I imagined but ends up it’s the perfect size for why I needed it. I haven’t had it long enough to evaluate the full battery life but upon arrival was able to fully charge my phone which had only 9% battery life left on it. And it didn’t affect the sound or clarity while using the radio at the same time I charged my phone.

I got this radio mainly for hurricane season and I was looking fo a hand crank with solar backup and battery. This radio has a lithium onboard battery that can be replaced if needed and many ways to charge it, crank, solar, usb. It also has a motion detection alarm feature and several lights. the radio sound is very good in the am.fm and wb. It has a sos feature that will sound a very Loud alarm and flash the high beam light. The only issue that I encountered is the instruction simply said to double click the sos button to activate and one click to turn it off. Well, I couldn't get it work so I returned it to amazon for a replacement. The second one did the exact same thing so I fiddled with it and found that you need to REALLY push the button in and then it cam on. Then I couldn't turn the thin off! It took a few tries but I finally got it to work. that is the only downside is that for sos the thing should be easier to work.

Love the radio! Now I don’t have to use data on phone for music. Flashlight is nice and bright. Love wind up feature. Battery is great after fully charged in my car. Then just wind it up. Solar doesn’t do much and not great for charging phone

This is a great emergency light/radio/charger. I initially bought this for keeping my phone charged during a power outage. The radio works well, I picked up the weather band station easily. The FM stations came in good as well, AM works. The lights are bright as you need. The radio charges using solar and using the dynamo crank and you can tell by the indicator on the front display.As I was saying before you can charge your phone using the USB ports on the side behind a cover.I love this "little radio that could"
