The UV is to just illuminate . Pretty poor actually. So no it does not sterilze a surface

will this actually show all fingerprints?

What a superb torch bright and at a good distance too

How do you insert these batteries? The presser won’t go down to allow insert. How do you use the battery box? It won’t fit lengthwise into the slot.

Hi, if the spring loaded plunger in the battery holder won't go down, I think you may need to contact the seller for a replacement or refund. Same for the plunger in the screw cap. Check the batteries are correctly inserted in the holder; insert the battery holder plunger first. rgds
