Stokke Table Top

I bought the table top four years ago. We have a simple wooden table and our table tops stays nicely in place. Yes, you can pull it in parallel, but when my kid was little she couldn't pull it away, it was too difficult to pull. And even I have to pull hard (in parallel) to get it off the table. It does scratch, but it's plastic, plastic scratches. I have never put it in a dishwasher, but never put plastic in a dishwasher anyway because I doubt the high temperatures are good for any plastic. Simply wiping it and occassionally pulling it off the table for a deeper clean. It's big, so any messes are easier to contain. Kid is a kid, and spill won't be prevented with any size placemat. But the worse is prevented. We still use it since our kid loves to accidentally knock over her glasses. So, we are happy with it. It is expensive, though.

I have seen a lot of bad reviews about this table top, and maybe I'm one of the few.... but I really LOVE it. It's a great size, and ensures that nothing gets into his reach (mail, cell phone, glasses of water). It's so easy to clean the table top, and it comes with 6 different, waterproof, wipe off pictures ( the giraffe like you see in the picture, chickens, ABCs, simple math, monkeys, and rows of cars.) Nice to switch it up, and even though it comes with a price its much more ascetically pleasing to the eye. No crevasses for food, or crumbs to hide. I LOVE my Stokke Table Top, I also have the high chair, the baby set, and the cushion. It's such a great set, the table top really is the cherry on top of the sunday for me. The price I have paid for some HIGH quality, well thought and crafted ideas is definitely worth the price for me... LOVE LOVE LOVE!! ***** 5 stars *****

Awesome item, protects your table from spills, scratches and almost everything else. Easy to clean and with the suctions cups it stays in place all the time. Need to clean suction cups every few weeks when your kid starts being able to move the cover around but that's it. Comes with several different inserts that keep this interesting for your kid at different ages. We will have this for a very long time.

Ordered the Stokke table top tray to go with the high chair and to save our table some wear and tear. It has worked out nicely so far. It has a few scratches but what won't with a toddler in the house. Love that our little one can be right at the table with us during meal time. Will concede that it is a bit pricey; hence 4 instead of 5 stars.

I was so excited to receive my Stokke Table Top since I already own the Tripp Trapp Chair. With the first delivery, I received an empty shipping box (must have been stolen), so Amazon shipped another one to me. When I received the package, I was disappointed to find out that the Table Top only came with 2 reversible templates (the template with the giraffe was not included), although the product description and the product images clearly showed 3 reversible templates. It also did not come with an inspirational book, as advertised in the Amazon description. I called Amazon to report this and they said that they would ship out another one to me with the 3rd template and book. I then went on to the Stokke website to find out from their product description that they have stopped including the 3rd template and book. I called Amazon to let them know this, so they canceled the replacement. They also said that they would update their website with a new description (however the images still show the giraffe template). I was really disappointed and felt that this was false advertising. The reason I was willing to pay so much for this table top was that it came with the 3 reversible templates. If I had known I would get only two, I may not have purchased it. I also have noticed that the suction is not so great. It is constantly moving around, although I have made sure that my table (which is wood) and suction cups were clean. Maybe that is why they recently lowered the price...again, I wish I had paid this lower price instead of the higher price I had to pay.

My 12 month old is completely determined to throw every mat, every no-grip plate, every suction cupped bowl, and tray to the floor. Ive tried everything and mealtime was becoming such a challenge! The only way to feed him was directly on the table, but our wood table was taking a serious beating. I hesitated forever on buying the stokke table top, partly because of the price, but mostly because of the poor reviews. But i was finally desperate enough to try it and to my surprise it worked perfectly! Looks cute, my little boy cant fling it at all, and its super easy to clean. The lip helps him scoop up food with his hands. I don't know what the other reviews mean when they say the baby can pick it up.. mine doesn't move at all (I make sure the edge closest to the baby lines up with the table). I don't even have to worry that much about keeping the suction cups perfectly clean, but I'm sure that helps too. This is really an easy product and works really well. Just perfect, wish i had bought it earlier!

Love this table top. Been using it for my 3yrs old since she is 18m and I am not disappointed. Pricey but good quality. Worth the but. Great size and easy to stock to glass table.

Although the version of this tray with the giraffe is the one predominately displayed on the website, apparently several designs are available. Unfortunately, when purchasing, you aren't given the option to choose. I received one I did NOT want and have had no luck exchanging it. I can understand not having a choice in the color of a sippy cup, but you should have some choice for an item that costs this much!!!
