If you use face paint to help break up the outline of your face while archery hunting the two most important things are that it stays on and comes off easily. But one often overlooked thing in hunting is scent. A deer's nose is incredibly sensitive. You can simply touch something in the woods and a deer can detect your scent for days afterwards. Deer communicate with scent as much as if not more than any other way. Having a strong sense of smell also helps protect them from danger. This stuff seemed to have a strong odor. If you play the wind right it shouldn't matter but when the wind unexpectedly shifts as it often does you don't want to add insult to injury by having more scent than needed heading into the wrong direction. The wind only stays perfect in a perfect world.This goes on well, stays put and comes off easily but maybe a little less smelly would be better.
