It arrived and it was not the same product described and pictured above, however similar. I’ve been trying to use it but the battery dies almost daily and the charging takes forever. I would not recommend.

Love the bin!! No need to put lid up or down....it does it all by a swipe of your hand. Only need to use 2xAA batteries. Great for use in bathrooms or a lovely bench top container for food scraps. Too lovely to hide in a cupboard!

I like the bin, looks good and fits in nicely. BUT I'm not sure what the plastic ring inside is for, u put a bag on it and it drops to the bottom of the bin!! Badly designed. I now just place the bag in the bin and fold it over the rim But nice little bin

I have bought 3 of these for each bathroom of my house. They are made of smooth plastic that is easy to clean and looks sleek. They use double A batteries and so far the motion sensor is working perfectly (it’s been around 3 weeks). This is a little more square then then the 2 gallon, which is perfect because it has a wider opening. The 2 gallon was so narrow, I felt a kid might accidentally dirty the sides inside when tossing things. I think this is the perfect size for bathroom trash, and it fits very well between the toilet and wall. Oh and it comes with a roll of bags! My only dislike is that they have a satiny ribbon attached to the lid in order to more easily remove the batter cover. It’s not necessary, the battery cover is already easy to remove, and I feel like that ribbon will just get dirty and harbor bacteria. I cut off as much as I could. But overall love it and I’m planning on getting some for my mom’s house too.
