Fitment on the newer generation units (R32)
I have a 1 year old purring chill cube with R32 refrigerant, most advertisements say that this will not work with R32 only with the r410a refrigerant units which are older generation units. After many talks with Lippert/ furion I was able to get them to admit that it is the same in will work but you have to use the R32 controller which is the controller that is in the unit. This product comes with a new controller in it but is designed for the r410a unit. All you have to do is just take the two screws out that holds it into the framework above the filter Grill and let it hang by its wires while you replace the inner steel plate and then remote it in the same place and then put the grill on and you're done. As far as air distribution, it is so much better it keeps my camper evenly cooled well then what degree in any area. It also dampens the noise level coming from the chill Cube air conditioner which is obviously loud with the standard Grill where the air flows straight down exiting the unit.

It does it's job and works
Not really a fan of this a/c control unit, seems the vents work more toward the rear then front. Air dampeners to adjust seem very flimsy but they do work. As far as installation fairly easy. There is no instructions included that state why the control knob has 8 different clicks when turning when only 4 work, the others may work for a different a/c unit though, just not sure.

Quiet and cool
It's much quieter than our older unit and cools the room down quicker. The instructions were not great... The drawings were very confusing. Ended up taking me around 2 hrs to install because of all the time spent looking for online videos to ensure I was doing it right.

Very poor design. Restricts air flow. Causes AC compressor to short cycle and freeze up constantly.
This is a very poorly designed air distribution box. It's output air flow channel is barely 1 inch deep. It restricts the air flow. This causes the compressor to cycle on and off about every 4 or 5 minutes at warmer settings and freeze up at cooler settings. The output channel should be about 2 inches deep. The other roof top AC manufacturers' ADBs air output channels are much deeper. Some have 4 vents instead of 2 to ensure the air flow is not restricted. Furrion needs to redesign and improve the ADB. Customers will continue to return the AC units until they do.
