So one of my favorite things about buying from Amazon is that if I’ve bought once before, I can usually look it up and buy it again. Every time I go to the big box stores for light bulbs, they never have the ones I’ve bought before?? So in many of our light fixtures, the bulbs are dying (it’s been 20+ years and they’re all old filament types and they’re done! So I’m replacing them with led types! I bought a 6 pack of ceiling fan from Amazon making sure they’re frosted, and led based, and soft white, daylight type, and that they’re dimmable, and that they’re at least 350-400 lumens. The new ones burn 4W each, the old ones were 40W x3 or 120W!! So these are nice to look at, way brighter and use way less electricity! I have most of my ceiling fans on dimmers to keep the power down but now I can dial in the brightness I want. These bulbs produce at least 20% more light each and I am really happy! So I just ordered another 6 pack to use in my guest bedroom remodel activity to replace the harsh, non frosted ones that came with the ceiling fan for that room! I can’t wait to change to these new led bulbs to stop the “harsh” comments I’ve gotten up to now! So another set on order, I’ll get them tomorrow, no worries, no taking them back and exchanging them with the trial and error routine!
