Perfect!
Yes, there’s lots of words on the page (more than other kids books) but it’s all super helpful and if you are engaged with your kid not just reading like a robot, they will be fully interested. Helped my kid understand what to expect when she starts school. Helps me remember what I need to tell her bc it really is a lot and this book covers all the bases. Pretty awesome.

Fun read anticipating the first day of pre-k!

Cute but lengthy
My son who was about to go to prescool for the first time enjoyed this book, however, it's a bit too wordy. The pages each have a lot of words but it is all useful information. Let's just say my son liked it a couple times but didn't want to read it after that!

As an anxious mon sending her kid first time to preschool, this came in handy to familiarize her 2 weeks before starting preschool.She didnt have any meltdowns infact she started looking forward to joining preschool

Perfect choice
I couldn’t have chose a better book for my daughter to prepare her for her first day of preschool! This book is a little wordy but my daughter needs and loves details. This book described my daughters preschool day perfectly. She walked in on her first day with so much joy and confidence! Highly recommend!!

Good resource
This was a great resource to get my grandson ready for his first day of Pre-K. It is a little wordy and with his 4 year old attention span he couldn't make it through the whole book at once, but my daughter was able to pick through and read him bits and pieces as he asked questions. It really helped calm his nerves.

This book is fantastic!
I agree with the others when they say that this book is very wordy, but this works great for us because my son loves to be read to and for whatever reason this book really engages him. My son has ASD and new things are scary for him and reading social stories can be so beneficial for him vs. talking to him about it. We read this book for about a month before he started preschool. It gave him all the information he needed to know about preschool and what it would be like and what to expect, so I really believe this helped him with the transition. I wish they had more books like this.
