ASUS ROG Spatha X Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse, Magnetic Charging Dock, Black

...as far as I can see. I've spent the last few months with a Logitech G602 that has been slowly dying no matter how much I clean it, but as I've had it for years and never come across anything that's seemed to be up to it's standard with respect to size, comfort and buttons (both number of and placement of) I've made do. And honestly, I dunno how I've never heard of this Asus mouse, but here we are. I've now seen a few reviews saying that it's a big mouse, a heavy mouse - it fills my hand (male, 5'9, average hands - I mean I think, how would you know?) and it does feel solid, but I've had mice in the past that came with added weights, and I would always just fill it with them, so for me the weight is nice. It feels like quality, rather than so light as to be a toy. It feels built. (Pic attached so you can compare size with G602) The number of programmable keys is my main reason for buying this mouse - 6 on the side, 2 on the left click 'shoulder', very much like the G602. The position of the side keys is different, but they are there and that's the main point - games like Baldur's Gate, Sniper Elite, Assassin's Creed Mirage etc are titles that give you plenty of scope for using all of these buttons and setting them up using the armoury crate (already installed on my machine for the mobo) is a breeze as you would expect. It also came 50% charged, which was a nice bonus for me playing around with it immediately. Speaking of the charger - it's a very low profile, just-the-tool-for-the-job affair, which I like, with an led to let you know the current battery level. The mouse can also be lit up like every day is Christmas, and even replicates what your motherboard lighting is doing. Noice. I've seen other mice that come without chargers and some manufacturers (won't name names) will charge you an additional £70 for the pleasure of a charging dock - Asus don't, and the one they give you is quite smart. I still see people trying to replace G602s with something similar and Logitech seem to have scaled back what they think a gaming mouse is - I would highly recommend you try this mouse if you're in that position. To be fair, I'm late to the party with this mouse; I've no idea how I missed this and it's predecessor, but I'm glad I'm here now and hope you see this and act accordingly. As long as Asus have a version of this on the go, or something similar when I need another mouse, I'll be a customer. I should add, £130 might seem like a lot of money for a mouse - but if it's something you're using every day, need it to be reliable and want quality, you won't regret this. And again, it comes with a charger as well as extra switches and a couple of charging cables.

docks smoothly, charges well and lasts, no connectivity issues. travel pouch is an easy size. worth every penny. programs easy enough to anyones specifications, fast or slow responses. solid quality, survives a dogs accidental tail launch onto the floor. 10/10 solid.

The size of the ASUS ROG Spatha X is perfect for my hands, and its heavier feel is exactly what I prefer — it gives me more control during gameplay. The mouse quality is excellent, with a solid build and premium materials that feel like they’ll last for years. The ease of use is great; switching between wired and wireless is seamless, and the magnetic charging stand makes it simple to keep powered up. The scrolling speed is smooth and precise, making both gaming and everyday use enjoyable. In terms of gaming performance, the 19,000 DPI sensor and customizable buttons give me a competitive edge in any game. For what you get, I think the value for money is spot on, especially considering the durability and features. If you like larger, heavier mice with top-tier performance, this is an amazing choice.

What a beautiful mouse! The design is beautiful and overall the product is a real pleasure to use. The build quality is questionable for the side buttons and the actual layout and design of them is poor as they are hard to differentiate. The software is where the mouse is let down most, Armoury Crate is a pig to use, it’s a resource hog, a bloated mess and it comes with to much bloat that is unnecessary for a mouse. A store front, a games scanner and library etc are simply not needed for a mouse driver. However looking passed the software, the mouse it’s self is a pleasure to use. Ergonomics are wonderful, it’s such a comfortable mouse for both claw and palm grips and is a pleasure to rest your hand on. The buttons are great, a solid and satisfying click and a scroll wheel that is super responsive. The major letdown is the side buttons, they are a great example for form over function. They look nice when lit up (the ROG EYE) but they are not easy to define and therefore are extremely unintuitive to use. For the price I would expect better build quality, and a slightly better side button design, however is you are willing to look passed these (and the software) issues I can say this is a very great mouse and is a real pleasure to use. It’s highly recommended, it’s just simply to expensive for what you actually get.

Lasted just over a year before the double clicking began. Otherwise a good mouse. However given the price, and the comparatively easy ride it’s had, the length if time it’s survived is unacceptable so will be the first and last Asus mouse I buy.

Bought this beast of a mouse thinking I was upgrading to the elite tier of gaming peripherals. Three months later, the left click decided it wants to double-click everything like it’s trying to speedrun my desktop. This isn’t a feature — it’s a flashback. The original Spatha had the same issue, and ASUS clearly thought, “Hey, let’s keep the legacy alive!” For a mouse that looks like it could pilot a spaceship, it sure can’t handle basic clicking. Still in as-new condition… because I barely got to use it before it betrayed me. At this point, I’m convinced ASUS mice come with built-in abandonment issues. 1 star — because zero isn’t an option and the RGB still works.

I've had a Spartha mouse for about 4 years now but it's showing it's age, the scroll registers poorly , scroll click have to press hard to work but I still love the thing, when I saw it at a discount couldn't help myself, 5 months payment was a bonus ( don't know why amazon doesn't offer this to most of the products) Now behold ... The new Spartha X!!! This one has new futures over my old one - usb-c cable with the soft cable vs the stiffer plastic one (2 of them) - not 1 BUT 2 spare scroll click buttons - carry case I like it even more now, it's not perfect, but it's for me and to add some details here : - the rubber support for the thumb can break apart if you go to hard on it with the cleaning so treat lightly. - the scroll issues I've mentioned above BUT now there are 2 spare buttons so that fixes 1 issue, and let's be fair this happens with most, if not all mices, so not taking a point off that, nothing lasts forever. I have tried several other well known brands, cheap and expensive ones, they are either to small, not enough side buttons or to light for me... I know, my hand needs to hold a brick, this one has the perfect size, weight and side buttons that are easy to use. If it lasts for another 4+ years I'm a happy camper.

It was expensive yesterday but honestly I've loved using it don't feel like using the keyboard to play? FPS's, RPGs all just using the mouse with the programable side buttons can set it up for literally whatever it's a nice big size mouse alittle heavy really good battery life nice sounding clicks the side buttons are alittle stiff to start with with the ability to chance the pulling sensitivity over all it is a good mouse that should last you for a good few years

I've been through many iterations of gaming mice from Razer to Logitech to Asus and this has finally ticked all my boxes. Ergonomics are spot on, despite the online reviews niggling at the thumb button placement. (I'm 6'2" and large hands) Weight is nice and heavy but well balanced. Armoury Crate has good configuration options and can remap side buttons well. Cords are super light and came with 2 (great if you want option of updating firmware without taking foot of charging base). Wired and wireless are both flawless. My only gripe is not being able to map sensitivity up as well as down, can only cycle through.

C'est vraiment le genre de souris que j'adore. Je pose ma main dessus, les boutons sont super, les clics sont très agréables. On ressent tout de suite la qualité du produit. Lourde, pour moi qui déteste les petites souris premium de 50gr. Elle glisse super bien. Très agréable pour jouer ou faire ma bureautique. Juste les deux petits boutons sur le côté du bouton principal gauche sont un peu plus difficile par leur forme, mais on s'y habitue très vite. Des souris de cette qualité je crois que ça va disparaitre malheureusement.

Kanon mus!

De muis is wel iets aan de grote kant voor mijn niet al te grote handen. Maar hier valt wel aan te wennen. De RGB verlichting is mooi helder, er zit ook wel wat gewicht aan de muis, wat ik zelf als prettig ervaar. Makkelijk aan te sluiten, software was vanaf de site makkelijk te installeren.

En un principio encontré una queja común en cuanto a este ratón, muchas personas tenían quejas con respecto a su peso. El paquete era pesado y me temía que el peso también sería un problema para mí, pero al contrario de todo pronóstico, para mi sorpresa, es el ratón más cómodo que he usado, pensé que el peso sería un problema para mi muñeca, pero de nuevo quedé sorprendido. Por otra parte es importante saber que el ratón está hecho para manos medianas/grandes, algunas veces puede complicarse llegar a algún botón. Con respecto a lo malo, me duele ver que un ratón tan caro como es este, carezca de la posibilidad de conexión por bluetooth, además hay algunos aspectos del software que no me convencen, por ejemplo el hecho de que no todos los botones se pueden llegar a considerar "botón", con esto me quiero referir a que hay un número limitado de botones con acciones me parece que solo llega hasta "botón 4" a partir de ahí tienes que asignar una función alternativa haciendo que si quieres que actúe como botón real, tienes que asignarle una función del teclado. Hay algunos aspectos del ratón que aún necesitan algunas mejoras, pero por el trabajo ejemplar que ha hecho ASUS en la ergonomía, recomendaría este ratón sin duda alguna a quien busque un ratón ergonómico.
