This is a placebo device, right?

I'm a skeptic and a scientist, so this is a good question, since the vast majority of EMF protection devices ARE scams. Most are just placebo devices. However, this Stetzerizer Filter is a legitimate electronic device, and they state it's use and limitations pretty honestly. The main difference between an antenna and house wiring is the insulation. Without insulation, the house wiring would transmit EMF (at 60 Hz) like an cheap antenna. This insulation is what makes power lines safe for electricians and us. Your power lines are designed and insulated for the use of 60 Hz power. They are not designed nor insulated for the higher frequency noise of today, which is put out on the return current by brush motors (like refrigerators), florescent lights, and digital devices (like computers). Many of these frequencies are bio-active (frequencies your body uses to trigger hormone secretion, insulin control, sleep stages, etc). These Stetzerizer Filters do NOT remove 60 Hz EMF. But they DO remove most of the harmful bio-active frequencies from the power circuit. Basically, these filters are capacitive notch-filters. Like surge protectors, but targeting only high frequency noise surges. Once the higher frequency noise (dirty electricity) is removed from the electricity, that noise can't radiate from the house wiring, because it's gone. The 60 Hz frequency is still there, but the wire's insulation is designed to suppress the E field of 60 Hz from radiating. Your devices (cell phone, WiFi, power bricks, etc.) themselves will each still radiate EMF, locally. But at least your house wiring will not radiate bio-active EMF throughout the whole house, anymore. Since you are reading this, I assume you already know the related health benefits of reducing bio-acive EMF, especially during sleep.

do you only need one, or one for every room?

The filters should be spread out throughout the house - onto the different circuits.  We roughly estimate about 1 per 100 square feet but it varies depending on a lot of variables.  I would recommend getting close to that 1 per 100 square feet of living space.  We usually put 2 by computers and TVs, for example, and other rooms may just need 1.  The meter is your guide - using the meter will show you whether you need more, or if the area/circuit is taken care of.

I have 110 electric into my 389 sq ft tiny house.  I have five breakers in my electric panel.  Do I need a filter for each one of those breakers?

Hello,the number of Stetzerizer meters can be determined based on the level of "dirty electricity" in your electric wiring by testing it with Stetzerizer Meter.Without the meter, I would say that you will need to start with 20 filters, probably 2 or 3 filter per EACH outlet inside your house (use of extension cord maybe required to plug in more than two filters).Regards,Robert
