A nice entry-level GT08 smartwatch
We purchased this GT08 smartwatch to be a thanksgiving gift to our cousin as I think it's a great starter smart watch for him to play around. The package includes GT08 Smart Watch Phone, 16GB KINGSTON SD Card, Screen Protector, SIM Card adapter, USB charging cable, and manual. The surprising gift in my box is a cute key chain. The watch came with screen protector already applied on the watch and I just had to remove the second protective layer before use. The manual is easy to read and does explain how to setup and basic features of this GT08 smart watch. I started with pairing the device with my Nexus 5 by opening Nexus 5 BT menu and connecting to the GT08 in the list. I think it's because this GT08 is default to be visible to be discovered in BT if no paired device so it shows in the BT list without I had to do anything. After paired, I scanned the QR code available on GT08 smartwatch. QR code took me to a website to download needed app - BT notification and Fundo Companion. Fundo Companion is used to setup and display information regarding GT08 smartwatch and BT notification is to pass notification on phone to smartwatch. On the hardware side, I followed the manual and opened up the back plate to insert SIM card (not included), and memory card (included in package). SIM card is required for using GT08 in standalone mode and memory card is needed for multimedia features (music, camera, photos...etc). Please see my video for a walk-through. PROs: - The watch band is comfortable and features a clip-on design. It's pretty easy to put on/take off. - Camera resolution is up to 320x240 in this GT08. This is much higher than my other entry-level smart watches. The pictures taken aren't great but it's acceptable for such a small device. - The bult-in MTK6261A CPU is pretty capable of handing the tasks on GT08. The GUI is pretty smooth. I only feel there is a short pause when loading up large apps. - The GUI is straight-forward with on screen prompt everywhere. Paired with the only button on the watch - digital crown to go back to HOME page anytime. There are several built-in app available for daily tasks, such as calendar, camera, notification...etc - Phone notification support. This is a great feature and enabled by installing BT notification app on the paired phone. It displays every notification from phone onto watch so I don't have to take my phones out just to check notifications every time. Note that notifications are view-able only and we can't reply from GT08. - Built-in speaker and microphone for voice communication. The speaker is loud enough to play music for a small room size. NOTE: - I tried to pair this GT08 with my Iphone and most features don't work as described on the description page. Please note this if you're using iPhone. - Some apps on GT08 require standalone mode to operate, such as call on smart watch, and those third party browser, messenger apps. Standalone mode means SIM card and data/phone plan is required. - If you're looking for fitness features, GT08 only features Pedometer (step count and distance). There is NO heart-rate sensor on the device. - I couldn't find any waterproof rating in the manual so I guess the watch isn't waterproof. I always remove the watch before taking a shower or getting into water.

Ever read the reviews on the diet Gummy Bears?
Worst idea I ever had. Please pay attention to what I am about to tell you... This watch... this little cheap watch is exactly that... CHEAP! It would not get out of 24 hour time! 33ft distance by BUTT! If I stretched my arm out with my phone in my pocket the stupid thing disconnectssss! Interface is really ew. Functions are ew. Apps do work, at least the ones I used. But whats the point in having a watch IF IT WONT TELL YOU THE TIME YOU WANT!?!?!?! It was fun to have, was easy to use as far as MP3 goes. Had to keep phone in the pocket closest to hand to make it work... Ever read those reviews on the Diet gummy bears? ......This watch felt like that for me... mentally. Please please please please save yourself the frustration and spend the extra dough on a good high quality watch. Don't fight the battle I lost! Look into the Asus Zenwatch 3. I'm serious.

Bare Bones Functionality and Features But works for what I need
I wasn't looking for an apple watch equivalent feature rich device when i bought this but i did want to have a device i could pair and wear easily when i'm at work in a noisy environment. That was my only requirment. i needed it to vibrate on my hand to let me know my phone was ringing and it did just that. It is very buggy and freezes often but this is easily fixed with pushing the screen shutoff button. I actually am impressed that the sound is not horrible when talking through the device too. Texting is with T9 so throughback to the early 2000's if u can still remember how to t9 if you lived through this era. You can ever put your sim card in the little thing and go solo watch only but probably more for the brave.

It is a basic Chinese smart watch
I am pleased with the fact that the product is exactly as advertised. It came with the micro sd card and work great for its price. It's not however very quality as the edges started wearing off soon after I started using it. Currently I am not longer using it because the battery burst and I couldn't get a replacement battery. I would recommend it for those who does not care much about quality and durability in a smart watch

Good Deal for the Price
Ordered this watch for my son for Christmas. Does what is claims to do on the description. I paired the watch to my son's iPhone and all the features seem to be compatible with the iPhone. Seems to be a good deal for the price, especially with the bluetooth features.

Its a good starter watch for the price
Bought it for my 10 year old daughter, she likes it. Its a good starter watch for the price, allows her to have a smart watch, use for basic uses, and wont bother me if she looses it or damages it. Pro: has similar functions as other smart watches, although some are limited takes ok pictures will play music stays on well Cons: somethings are a little difficult to manage doesn't track steps unless you turn that function on and has a timer for them a bit bulky for her small wrist. dosen't seem to bother her had a few glitches. resetting it seemed to fix the problem

The good news was that the seller refund the cost 100%
Sadly, this product did not work. It seemed to be defective, and it would not sync with my phone. The good news was that the seller refund the cost 100%, and we got to keep the product. My kids use it as a toy, because it was completely useless for anything else..
