Premium Abrasive Discs - Excellent Performance But Pricey
I've been using these 3M Xtract Cubitron II net discs for various workshop projects, and they're genuinely impressive bits of kit - though you do pay for the quality. The net design is brilliant for dust extraction. If you've got a proper vacuum setup, these work an absolute treat - minimal clogging, and they last considerably longer than standard paper discs. The Cubitron II abrasive cuts aggressively and consistently, which means you're not standing there for ages working through grits. The multi-pack with various grits (80+ through to 320+) is handy - covers you from initial stock removal right through to finer finishing work. The 127mm size fits most random orbital sanders without any bother. Hook and loop backing holds securely, and the discs don't tear or fall apart even when you're working them fairly hard. Now, the elephant in the room: the price. These aren't cheap. You're paying 3M premium prices, and if you're just doing occasional DIY or hobby work, you might find cheaper alternatives perfectly adequate. But if you're doing regular sanding work and want discs that cut efficiently and last, these justify the cost through performance and longevity. They're particularly good on wood and painted surfaces. Less experience with them on metal, but for woodworking they're top-notch. If you've got the budget and do serious amounts of sanding, these are worth it. For occasional use, might be overkill. Recommended for professionals and serious hobbyists.

Try this, you won't go back to trad papers.
Best sanding media ever. I will not be going back to any of my previous brands or types. It lasts well, sands cleanly, unclogs easily and stays unclogged longer than types with holes. Try it and be amazed like I was.

Great value for money
High quality discs Better value for money than cheap discs, they move more material and do it in less time. Better on removal per disc. Better on time to completion. Less disc in the bin at job's end. Being mesh, dust extraction is excellent. Buy a pad protector ( especially if you don't have a removable pad on your sander)

Will never go back to cheap paper
Wow, the difference from standard paper discs is unbelievable. No swirls compared to finer graded grit paper. Heavier grit cuts through like nothing, and my initial trepidation on wear is well and truly gone. Still going strong when lesser sanding discs would be paper or ripped.

Awesome cutting and dust clearance.
There's nothing to compare, these are just great sanding pads, but you must run dust extraction, or they'll bog down. You'll be covered in sawdust and your nose will be blocked, but you won't get the best from them.

WOW!!!
Bought these after seeing a YouTube video on woodworking and thought I'd give them a go. The difference between these and the usual pads is night and day and i was amazed! They're just on a completely different level and I'll never buy standard pads again. If you want sanding pads that do an amazing job, last so many times longer, don't get hot, just buy these!!

Decent pads especially when compared to cheaper bulk options
I've been using these for a mixture of jobs such as sanding skirting boards, prepping walls for plastering and also smoothing out applications of ready mix plaster on walls. They seem like good quality, long lasting and I'd prefer to pay the extra for the quality. I use them on a pad saver on a random orbital sander with a vacuum and this works well. All in all, I'd say they're good value for money and the performance is good!

Expensive But Well Worth It
Who likes sanding? Normally I hate sanding but these are an absolute game changer and a joy to use. Big claims for an abrasive but genuinely really impressed. I used a piece of very rough sawn not planed hard maple about 500mm X 200mm as a test and used the 80grit disc and in under 5 mins the test piece was incredibly smooth. I accidently got these 150mm discs while my sander is 125mm discs I was able to trim these to size with scissors with no fraying of the side of the disc. Disc sticks really well to sander base in my case a Makita. I do a lot of sanding usually hardwoods and occasionally ply and painted finishes on ply with a primer and these discs have performed superbly on all tasks and definitely produce less airborne dust that other abrasives. Have already ordered the bigger boxes of 80 and 120 grit for the workshop and only bought this pack for testing These are pricey but definitely well worth it doing a better job in a quarter of the time and I think they last longer than other abrasives too.

Väldigt bra slippapper om man tidigare använt billigare nobrand ark. Håller betydligt längre

Great product
Used this particular product before. It is long lasting between the changes and outperforms in my opinion anything I could buy from hardware stores here in Australia. Comes in 6 different grits and can be used on woodworking, composite sanding, metal fabrication, primer sanding, gelcoat sanding... Would highly recommend to anyone.

With great with a dust extractor
I love these sanding discs they remove material quickly and leave a very smooth surface. They work best when hooked up to a vacuum or dust extractor. They hold up well, but sanding on corners seems to wear them out a little quicker.
