Helps whitening
I use Calgon in a formula that also contains washing soda and borax. I use it to strip white towels and bring them back to white. It helps to use Calgon if you have hard water. It met my expectations.

So glad I found it!!!!!
I did a couple of loads using only my detergent & 2 capfuls of Calgon for each. I’m wondering if my eyes are deceiving me….my whites and colors don’t seem to have that dingy look after washing. I see their real colors. It’s not easy to find but I’ll make sure to stock up whenever I can find it. I’m surprised that with the Florida water being so horribly hard this isn’t in every supermarket.
