This is an excellent product and is along the lines of a luxury product. It's perfect for sensitive skin as well as normal and oily skin. The product is only slightly scented, with a nice clean scent. It's just "harsh" enough to really clean and purify your skin. It has the awesome ability to erase away the dead top layer of skin cells, the ones that are hit by environmental stressors like air pollution, sun rays and results from bad food diet. I use this skin cleaner 3 times a week and my skin is fair and I have green eyes and blonde hair. I wouldn't use this product every day because I think it may be a little too much, so using it 3 times a week allows me to see a real difference while giving my skin a break in between use. I first purchased the very small tube to try it which was slightly less than an ounce, but lasted me for more than a month, and was approximately $8. I loved it so much that I went on to purchase the large tube, which is about 7 to 8 ounces and was $32. I just can't say enough great things about this European product (I think it was developed in France). The product leaves my skin feeling so clean and not dried out at all. I wet my face with warm water and use a dime sized amount and gently rub in a circular motion, then I rinse it off with warm water. After use, I pat dry with a soft towel and when my skin is completely dry, I add a heavy moisturizer because I use it just before bed. I always wake up with clean feeling skin with a nice glow to it. I'll definitely purchase this again and I'd recommend it to friends and others looking for a gentle skin wash at a great price.

Excellent face scrub. Normally, when I use products that scrub the skin my skin gets irritated because I have sensitive skin, but with this product & I noticed a difference. It has enough scrub to see & feel a difference & doesn't strip my skin. My skin texture is soft & bright. Will buy again.

I also got a sample from Birchbox and I let it sit in the drawer for a while. I had some health issues and neglected doing anything to my 55+ face for several weeks except washing it with Neutrogena soap twice a day. As a result, I had rough, dull skin that I figured would take weeks of scrubbing and moisturizing faithfully to correct. I thought I would give this a try even though anything with "exfoliate" or "peel" in the description scares me to death because my ultra fair skin is very sensitive. There was no burning or stinging and just a slight gritty feeling to the product. I gently massaged it in a circular motion and then rinsed. My face is always bright red for a while after washing so I didn't really look at it immediately. When I went to apply moisturizer I was flabbergasted! My skin was baby-smooth and felt wonderful! I grabbed a mirror and was further amazed to see clear, healthy-looking skin! This was just after ONE use. I want to keep it looking this way so I'm ordering more. This isn't a wrinkle reducer but is a very gentle, yet effective exfoliant. I know the terms "gentle" and "effective exfoliant" sound mutually exclusive, the both are true. If you have rough, dull skin, you need to try this! It also has NOT dried out my skin at all. Update: 5/7/15 I still think this is an amazing product. I try to use it once or twice a week and my 60 year-old skin looks amazing. I have noticed a decrease in pore size, elimination of all blackheads and rough patches. I'm still using my first bottle that I bought a year ago so it ends up being very inexpensive in the long run.

I have used this many years having purchased it on Costco. Occasionally I would also send to my 3 grandsons who were going through their early teens and had tried it at my house and loved how it helped their skin. This exfoliator makes your skin feel so soft and smooth and does not leave any grit. I will use no other. Recently I also purchased their moisturizer Best of Youth and am liking it. I am also interested and hoping in the near future to purchase a few other products including the Kajal Waterline Eyeliner and their eye cream. You won't be sorry you purchased this.

I initially received this product as a Birchbox sample, and ended up ordering it quickly so that I could save the sample size for traveling. I already use a clarisonic, and have used St. Ives' apricot scrub in the past, but usually if I want serious exfoliation I'll just scrub at my face with a washcloth. That works, but it's not great for my skin and leaves it pretty raw. This product is gentle (I have pretty reactive skin, if not outright 'sensitive') but effective. I use a little more than it recommends ("pea-shaped" amount, says Birchbox, but I use about 2 peas) but this size will still last for a few months. Occasionally I'll use it with my clarisonic, but I think it's better just to use your hands over your face for the recommended 2-3 minutes, because the product will disappear into the clarisonic's brush pretty quickly - clarisonic better with foaming soaps for that reason. I don't believe this product has the same "microbead" issues that similar products do with clogging water supply, etc. The consistency is more like very fine salt or sugar - not as course as sand. I think the 'fruit enzymes' (acid ingredient) is enough to be effective, but not enough to cause negative reactions for most users. Definitely recommend this product, although I ended up finding it cheaper on Birchbox's website with a first-time buyer coupon and bought it in bulk there - but Amazon ships faster. Update: I used this for the first time this week on dry skin, whereas I usually use it in the shower. It's definitely a rougher and probably more effective exfoliation. If you have sensitive skin, use in the shower or fully wet your face and hands before using and that should help!

Very nice deep clean I love this face scrub.

I've only used the product a couple of times so far and I can already feel the difference to my skin. Skin feels much more smooth and bright. I would really recommend. It's a bit pricey but worth the money and hopefully will last a while with a decent sized tube. The texture and consistency of the product is good not too scratchy but feels like it's exfoliating.

Découvert grâce à une célèbre box, j'utilise ce gommage depuis plusieurs année maintenant, et c'est de loin le meilleur et le plus efficace de tous. Peau parfaitement nettoyée et lissée, réceptive aux soins. Il peut paraître un peu cher (et encore...) mais rapporté à la contenance du tube, c'est plutôt une bonne affaire !
