FNL Ceramic Fire Starter Necklace Leather Cord

There are many others out there. Most are more expensive. This one works. I carry it with me almost daily.

The necklace is cool, and the ability to start fires with it is really cool! I have one like this of another brand that cost more and i wear it more just because I had it first, and start fires with it often, so I bought this for backup when the current one wears out. The necklace is comfort, easy to adjust, and very lightweight. The size is good, it's small for larger hands probably, but I'm a female with smaller hands so I can hold the pieces okay for firestarting.

I love this necklace. It looks great and has functionality. The parts are nice quality from the leather necklace, ferro rod, and ceramic striker. I have tested it many times and it works fantastic. You can wear it as just a cool necklace or throw it in your camping/bug out bag for an alternative fire starter. Price was decent and fair deal compared to others I seen online. Pick one up you won't be disappointed.

I was hesitant on ordering this due to the size of the rode and the striker. I was afraid it would break on the first try, but to my surprise it did not I have had this over a year and take it out every time I go in the woods. So far been a very dependable back up to my main fire starter kit.

While watching "Dual Survival" on Max/Fire Tv I decided to attempt a fire with my new necklace. I went out to my backyard fire pit and collected some kindling from my compost pile, mainly left overs from last years garden. I was skeptical about using a 1" ferrocerium rod with a 3/4" ceramic striker. I scraped the paint off the rod and with the diagonal angle on the ceramic striker, using full length strokes I was able to start a fire after several strikes. I selected this necklace because It is more ornamental than other fire start necklaces with the brown leather and white ceramic. I also like the smaller profile because I find myself wearing it everyday. I'm very happy that it works...

Love this bush. Craft style necklace. Can wear it and no one really knows what it’s for, so it looks great to wear on any occasions. However tho it works fabulous with a great strike. Very powerful ignition of sparkage lol. Buy one you’ll love it my ole lady says looks great and sexy and when we’re in the woods always glad it’s there

Off the bat, I've never used it to light a fire. I wear it just in case I need to. But asthetic wise, people are intrigued by the look. Maybe it's because I'm Asian, but they think it's more mystical or has deeper meaning. When they ask what it means I just reply, it means "firestarter".
