A below user mentions that it's not super intuitive - that's true, but once you understand that pressing "stop" stops the alarm, and pressing "play" twice clears it,, there's not much more to know. The alarm is loud enough that I can hear it from adjacent rooms, but not so loud as to be obnoxious. The design is clean and looks really cute on our refrigerator.
