If your furniture has baby furniture, well, I think that's beyond the scope of this product and review. Contact the press. However, if you're a slob like me, this does an awesome job of protecting nice furniture against spills, pipe ashes, cat yaaaak, dropped pocket open knives, clamps, and pizza grease. I have it on a side table and workstation. I originally thought about glass, but that's really pricey, this isn't super expensive or antique furniture, and considering some of the stupid things I've done, I'm not sure glass would've survived. It comes curled in a tube. They suggest heating it with a hair drier and some other tips to get it to flatten out but I have the patience of a three-year-old. I kept thinking, "Is it done yet? Is it done yet? Now?" I had bought some non-marring furniture dots to hold it into place and I used those to slowly mount and stretch it taught against the surface of the tops of the furniture. Then I used scissors to cut it to about a 1/2" around the edges and a razor to trim it clean. This stuff is great. Not only does it protect, but it makes it so easy to write on. You know when you try to write on a hard surface with a pen and it keeps acting like its run out of ink? This is a pleasure to write on. I think it'd be great for a student's desk. My laser mouse loves it and makes it very precise when my pen tablet isn't handy for photo touchups. And its thick. Not like a piece of cellophane or even a thin piece of plastic. This is robust. Things also don't shift easily on this. Rulers, ashtrays, cellphones, remotes, keyboards, containers. Cats. It cleans easily. This is a real investment. I am kinda dumbfounded by some of the negative reviews. This is a table protector, not sheet glass or plexiglass. It protects whats under it from horrific damage. Nice antique table with kids, pets or an ashtray on it? You know what I'm talking about. The issue with flattening and marks and stuff under it? Under my fancy glass table covers are very thin plastic discs, non-marring acting like double sided adhesive. Use a row of three or four on the end and slowly add rows as you pull the cover taut. Once positioned, like a dry fit, you can adjust and pull tighter where it needs to be. I never heated the cover and have pulled it up several times to check under it for marks. Amazon sells those discs right here. My workstation has a lip thing to keep the keyboard from coming off. It has screws holding it on. I took it off, covered right over the space it went on, then put holes in the cover for the screws, and tightened the lip back on over the cover, further anchoring it in place. Too big? Better too big than too small. Scissors can get it down to rough size once on, then a razor for a factory fit. I've spilled coffee on it, hot ashes, dropped a small vice on it (we don't talk about that here) spilled corrosives on it, etc. But the table underneath is as pretty as the day I bought it. If you do want a clear, transparent perfect cover, than this just isn't for you. Drop the extra bucks on glass AND those disc spacers. You'll still get scratches and opaque discoloring with plexiglass, thats just not a substitute for glass. But dropping the corner of a small vice (again, don't ask) would have shattered glass and broken plexiglass unless it was crazy thick. For real durable protection, taking the preparation I did ahead of time, my perennial abused arm table will look great for years. Just pull up the cover and clean under it. Dust spray helps protect the wood from both the cover and the discs as well, while the discs prevent sliding. When the time comes, I can just remove and replace this. There's a reason they make those disc spacers. Absolutely, positively buy them for any flat hard covering on tabletops, dressers, what have you. If its a big piece of glass on a dark wood surface, they make lovely felt ones, usually green or brown. Think through what you're buying before buying it, what you'll need to use it, how you can adjust it if possible, if you missed a step. Its not like this comes out of a box and you just throw it on and you're done. These kind of things are never like that. Buuut, no matter what, still no guarantees against unwanted baby furniture...

I’m very happy with this table cover. It’s thick, sturdy, and feels much more durable than the thinner plastic covers I’ve used before. The clear finish keeps the table looking nice while protecting it from spills, scratches, and messes. The size is great for covering a large buffet or dining table, and it’s easy to wipe clean after use. Overall, it’s a high-quality product that does exactly what I needed. Definitely recommend it!

I purchased this for the top of my stainless steel utility table. It has saved the top from getting scratches. Grips very well. Pleasing to the eye. You can see right through it so nice if you wanted to put photos underneath or greeting cards, love notes, emergency phone numbers, wallpaper or scrapbooking paper for a fun appearance. Very versatile. Pleasant to lean on. Priced right and many custom sizes to choose from. It took a bit longer to arrive but that may have been due to Upper Michigan weather this past Winter.

I am very pleased with this cover. The quality is excellent. It is trimmed perfectly. It’s thick enough to protect a wood top cabinet without being obtrusive. It stays in place, and because it’s clear it does not alter the look or color of the wood beneath it. I think it’s thick, flexible and versatile enough that it could be used in many ways, such as covering a wood table, desk, or cabinet. Plus, it’s very affordable. I’m very happy with it and have been telling friends about it. I would definitely buy again, but I don’t think I will need to!

Perfect for what I wanted it for. Created a smooth surface for a uneven surface. Thought it was going to be a little thicker but it works perfectly and it avoided me from buying a pricey glass top that can potentially get broke since it is in my teenage daughters room. It protects the wicker. You can hardly tell it is on.

Exactly what I was looking for. We live in a home that is connected to our son's home. His small children cove over for a visit with grandma and grandpa every evening. They like to put together puzzles, play games and assemble magna tiles on my dining room table. Now we can play together without me worrying about the table being scratched. The sizing is perfect and it laid flat almost immediately. Thickness is perfect. I would not hesitate to buy again
