I've always wondered how people hang these beautiful fresh long heavy garlands on their walls or over their doors without making holes in their walls. After a little google search this year, these specifically were recommended in an online blog on how to hang a fresh garland without making holes in your walls. Each one can hold up to 37 pounds each. I used 3 for my garland only because of the length and how I wanted it to hang and drape, but not because it needed 3. My cedar garland only weighs about 6-7 pounds. My wreath over the fireplace weighs about 3 pounds. These worked perfectly and I am very pleased with them and these do support heavier weight over the others available on Amazon that are clear. A few things to note for success: 1. It is a must that you place these on the surface and let them cure/adhere for several hours before applying any weight to them. If you want them to last, make sure to wait at least 4 hours before hanging/adding weight to them. I waited 5 hours before hanging a heavy 15' fresh cedar garland from it. 2. Make sure when applying them you clean the surface well first with rubbing alcohol and the surface is dirt/dust free. 3. Apply a lot of pressure when smoothing out the adhesive with your finger all over it and remove as many air bubbles as possible. Kind of like when applying a screen protector to your cell phone display. I did use these successfully in 3 other areas. One adhesive on my uneven stone fireplace, two adhesives on a door frame for an artificial garland, and one adhesive on a very rough surface dry wall that still had wall paper glue on it since I just took the wall paper off and leaving the glue removal for a later 2023 project. I didn't think this would hold up at all on the wall with the wall paper glue on it as it was a very very rough and uneven surface and instructions are clear not for that type of surface. But I was determined to give it a try at least and especially since I didn't want to leave the wall bare and ugly and only hanging a very light weight wreath. To my surprise it was quite strong...I later tested if it would hold a heavy wreath (like the one I hung on my fireplace) and it did but I did need to re-visit it frequently to continue to apply pressure and left that one up to cure/adhere for a longer period of time without any weight added to it. For my fireplace...the stones are very uneven so I just made sure to apply extra extra pressure smoothing as well especially where the stone's surface became uneven and as long as I didn't place one over two separate stones leaving a gap in the middle where the concrete is. I have not tried removing these yet, and not sure if I will. The adhesive is clear and if I just remove the hook and pack it away with my Christmas decorations, you won't see the adhesive that is left up because it is clear and very un-noticeable. If I do decide to remove any, I will update my review on my experience. It's stated to use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive first before attempting to peel off. I would also suggest using a flat putty knife of something similar and maybe using a gook off if the sticky adhesive leaves a residue. I am very very happy with how well these worked out. I feel that other reviewers that did not have a good experience with these, is probably due to either not cleaning the surface well, or not allowing it time to adhere/cure well for several hours before applying weight to them or both. I strongly recommend these and they will hold up as long as you follow the instructions and let them stick for a few hours, and I am so thankful to have found these suggested by an online home decorator blogger on how to hang a fresh heavy garland without making any holes. I will buy these again and in smaller forms from now on for other hanging projects around the house. I'm looking forward to hanging things on my outdoor brick siding and more. These are very strong and durable and I'm very happy with my purchase. I got several compliments on my fresh garland that I put up and I was asked by several family members and friends how I hung all these decorations up. Review of what I love/pros: 1. Easy to apply 2. clear and discreet 3. can be used on "almost" any surface....almost 4. great price and value for what you get and need it for Cons - none yet. I have posted pics of all 4 areas I used these on and included a close up of the walls surface that is very uneven and rough from the wallpaper glue that’s still up.

I don't normally write reviews for the items I purchase on Amazon but here I go. We had two shower caddies in our show and the adhesive hooks started to fail and peel of the tile. I came to Amazon to find replacement adhesive hooks an ultimately purchased a different brand. I put the adhesive hooks on the tile, removed all the air from between the tile and adhesive backing, then waited the required 24 hours before putting the caddies back up. Everything seem fine for about a week then one night as we were sleeping we heard a loud crashing sound in our bathroom. One of the adhesive pad/hook had failed and peeled right off the wall causing the caddie and its content to fall. It looks as though the adhesive pad/hook failed where the grout meets the two tiles on the will. I assume water and moisture seeped down the grout and ultimately between the adhesive and the tile. So my idea was to purchase smaller pads and not the 11" pad that I had purchased. After more research I came across these pads which were smaller and had good reviews. I received the pads and used three pads per caddy. I made sure not to put the pads over the tile grout as to minimize any water or moisture getting down behind the pad. I cleaned the time with 99% isopropyl alcohol let it dry, affixed the first pad to the tile. I immediately noticed these pads had way more adhesive on them (I could tell when I was pushing out all the air from behind the pad. I then waited 24 hours before hanging the caddies back up. It has been several weeks and they adhesive pads are still holding strong with no signs of failing. It should be noted that our shower tile is not smooth and has a texture in it. I made sure to use a plastic scraper type tool to push the adhesive pad onto the tile as best I could. These adhesive hooks are very heavy duty and seems to have very strong adhesive compared to the cheaper longer hooks. Give them a shot as I don't think you will be disappointed. PS: I did not use the metal hooks that came with the pads as my caddies clipped into the same clip as the metal hooks. But I will say the metal hooks are very think and appear to be extremely heavy duty.

Works very well. Slip resistant. Sturdy. Easy to use. The driver delivered the package between the two doors, which was appreciated.

This is the second time I've ordered these. Both times I've used them to hang curtains. Not the perfect item to since the rod kind of sits against the wall, but it works still. I have three up right now for a two window curtain rod. Semi heavy curtains, so it holds them well. They are so easy to "assemble." You just put the hooks onto the sticky part. They stick REALLY well. The only con I have is that they will take paint off the wall. Possibly a small layer of drywall. But... when you live in an apartment and the screws will not go into the wall that the rods come with... you improvise. This is the best solution in my opinion that I've found.

Very well made, holds my laptop bag easily. Strong adhesive. I have not tried to remove it so do not know if it will damage walls, but I would guess it might.

When I first opened them, I honestly didn’t think they would be that good. But when I stuck it to my wall, I tested it with two damp XL towels and it worked amazing! I even pulled down on the hook and applied a lot of pressure to test it and it stayed in place. I highly recommend this product!! ** Just something to keep in mind, the adhesive back is very strong. It will damage your wall if you try to remove it. So make sure you’re putting them in the correct place because once you take it off, it will pull away the paint on your wall

Yes. It works and best part you can remove without residue. For the price compare to 3M..it is a nothing.
