Great Grips for the Oculus Quest 2
Our kids have a couple of Oculus Quest 2 devices that they absolutely love. However, a few of the games they play require (or perhaps don't require) a lot of excessive arm movements. One game in particular, Gorilla Tag, has our kids swinging their arms like they are trying to set some sort of record. This arm swinging led to a controller or two being tossed about the room...needless to say, I wanted to stop this from occurring. So let's start the review off with the design. The KIWI Grips have a nice, thick rubber texture that not only feels good on the hands, but also provides some good grip. The grips also come with some nice straps that slide across the back of the hand to really keep them on. One other nice little feature is the hole in the bottom, which allows you to use the original Oculus strap if you choose to do so. The straps are easily adjustable and are very easy to put on. You can have them ready to use in just a min or two.Perhaps the coolest part of this design, is the battery cover and ability to quickly remove the battery. The battery opening is covered by a seamless piece of the soft silicone; however, it also acts as a latch of sorts and makes the battery easily accessible. The KIWI Grips also come with a back of plastic pull tabs that can be inserted in the battery chamber (under the battery) which allows the kids to easily pop the battery out for replacement. In the box you will get 2 Controller Grip Covers, 6 Plastic Pull Tabs and instructions for putting them on the controllers. The controllers get great ratings across the board. I purchased these from Amazon (with the link below) for around $24, which in my opinion is well worth the money. Plus the kids love them!

Great product good fit great functionality love them
These grips have been greatThey fit perfectly well I’ve had no issues withConnectivity and the battery compartment built-in is fantasticThe straps did seem to have a prefixed position, but I imagine they would form to your particular adjustment although they fit me out of the boxI have many Kiwi products. They’ve always been well built andgood quality.

Solid choice for safety grip covers
Anyone who has an oculus or meta quest knows the standard straps the controllers come with do not last with kids and teens. I’ve bought a couple replacement brands based on reviews and price, but they never lasted past 6 months. Bought these for my sons and he says the grips feel more natural and comfortable. We’ve also had them past 6 months and so far it holds up well. Easy to take off and put on as well as for battery replacement. Little pricier than some other options, but Kiwi seems to be reputable brand for quest products and I suppose you get what you pay for. If on sale, I say grab it if you need it, but if regular price still seems to be worth it. Have fun!

Lots of great, and just one not-so-great thing
Pros: I was impressed by how easy these were to install and that they fit my controllers perfectly. I absolutely love the part where I won't have to remove the whole grip in the event I need to change controller batteries. Grip feels good in the hand, not slippery.Con: I have women's size medium hands and find the strap to be relatively uncomfortable: it is positioned too far toward my knuckles to feel like it's doing a good job holding onto my hand. The material it is made out of is also too stiff and slippery - it doesn't flex well around the hand kindof slides off even when tight (though it might do a better job if it were positioned closer to the wrist end of my hand rather than my knuckles), so I'm constantly undoing the strap, pushing my hand back into the strap, and re-tightening it during game play. The grip covers I had for my Quest 1 controllers (different brand) had an elastic strap over the hand (almost like a very wide rubber band, but very soft and comfortable), where you simply tugged the lower end downward and it was instantly cinched comfortably over the hand. It was soooo much easier to get your hand into, accommodated all hand sizes, landed at a comfortable spot on the hand so it felt very secure, and did not loosen or slip around. Hopefully Kiwi can improve the strap on these in future editions since the current design doesn't really accommodate all hand sizes, stay put, or feel secure.

Best Straps on the Market with Excellent Protection for Controllers as well
I mainly purchased these just because the straps that come with the controllers feel EXTREMELY insecure to me (I play Beat Saber around 90% of the time), and I had used this brand when I purchased something similar for my original model Quest. The fact the price is so excellent just made it that much easier of a sell. With the last version I purchased, I was satisfied because they offered a much more secure feeling fit, and that's really all I was looking for. But with these, they have stepped up their quality in a BIG way. Now, not only do they offer a much more secure fit, they were incredibly easy to install (and the battery cover was a genius improvement as well), all while offering a MUCH more durable protection for the controllers themselves at the same time. And they managed to do all this while keeping the price nearly identitcal the 1st gen model from what I remember, so kudos for that. After being so satisfied with my purchase of these controller grips, I went ahead and bought the "elite headstrap" from the same company, and despite it being LESS than half of the official version, I think it's every bit as good, if not better. I personally will be sticking with KIWI for all my accessories going forward until they give me a reason to feel I can no longer trust them, which I just don't see happening based off the quality of the last two. Great job!
