I am honestly surprised by the quality/feel of this stand. It's an all metal stand with a thick durable feeling plastic mic mount. Does not topple over with light bumps even if my condenser mic is not directly above one of the legs, less stable but stays standing. Great stand to toss in your laptop bag for whenever you get lyric inspiration or want to record videogame sound effects when not at home(my reason for purchasing) with a good, more sensitive mic without having to manage handling sounds. Def more portable than a classic 4-6 ft extendable arm mic stand

I had a tripod stand previously that came with my microphone and I’m currently using. The microphone is great but the stand was subpar and the legs broke twice on it. My husband tried to glue them back, but they just didn’t hold so I got this as a replacement and it’s really nice and solid. Very happy with it. It’s just the right height to be on my desk for zoom calls.

I got this to be a travel mic stand that I could just drop in my laptop bag and prop up on a desk wherever I’m at when I’m gaming on my laptop. So far it has been NEARLY perfect for that. Most of the time where I have it set there are no problems and my friends can hear me fine, but a handful of times I wished that it had been a bit taller or had a small arm to angle it differently. I can’t really fault it for that though, it does what it’s advertised to do. I am going to purchase a small boom arm to help me with those times I need it though. All in all, works pretty good!

I got this and had to return as the grip is not adjustable and won't fit mics that are slightly thick. Also the head is not moving. Even if it were to fit the grip, I'd still not like it. The material looks good for the price, if you are lucky enough to have an exact same size mic. If it is smaller or bigger in size, then no good news for you.

Good deal. Rugged. Solid mic mount. Just like in the picture only better. Bear in mind, these aluminum tubed devices from China are all the same. You'll want to be careful about overtightening the nut. If you use a mic clip, screw it on and leave it. The more you fiddle with the nut the more likely you are of galling the threads, and then you'll be duct taking the mic clip on.

This mic stand is the perfect size—nice and short, which makes it super portable and easy to carry around. Great for travel or small setups. Solid build and does exactly what I need. Highly recommended!
