I'm 5ft 6 inch, My husband 5ft 8 inch.** A: I am 5 ft 3 in and the 4.9 ft bands work for me. They are long and I usually have to wrap them around my hands (especially the yellow one which is the easier resistance of the 3). When looking at bands on-line, Isaw the brand: "HPYGN". They were non-latex, made of a new material called TPE (mixture of thermoplastics and elastics) and the "price was right"! They were as describes. The lengh was accurate, they seem durable, and they came with a sturdy little carry bag. The problem (drawback) for me is, the resistance action. hen pulling on the band, it feels as if I am pulling taffy. It has a slow stretch, hesitates, then continues on stretching. Took it to my Therapist yesterday, and asked if it would hurt my training form. He said "likely not", but I should "stick with the material I feel best with".
