It dramatically changes the strength curve, basically adds a lot of weight/resistance the higher you go. Ex. the bottom of the movement (most difficult) will have the least amount of resistance and add up to 250 lbs (2 bands at 125 each, not tested) with just the bands at the top of the movement. For me personally I can add the heavy bands to my normal max weight without issue and it feels fantastic. Keep in mind these bands will have to be replaced at some point, don't expect these to last forever.
