In my car, the two amp wires (blu & blu/wht) on the harness aren't used so I repurposed them, moving them the locations to let me tie in the steering wheel controls. It wasn't easy because of how well built this harness is. You can't go wrong with this part. I cannot say if it will work in the Mazda 3 because I installed in a Mazda 5. **Q: Do these colors really match, the power wire on my master plug is red but on the harness it’s yellow, does that mean the yellow is my power wire?** A: No yellow is so the radio will hold its memory. Look it up on YouTube to find the correct wire positions. **Q: Does this include 1p and 1n wires for the swc to work?** A: When connecting steering controls you will need to connect to the factory side of the wiring harness.
