Recommended by a dentist friend, after a few weeks of daily use, twice a day, this has significantly reduced my sensitivity on my front teeth, which used to hurt whenever I drank anything slightly cool or bit into something sugary.Importantly, my dentist friend taught me that you're not meant to rinse your mouth with water after brushing. You just spit out any excess but there needs to be some toothpaste left on the teeth, to do the good work.Very noticeable difference compared to their "gentle whitening" toothpaste, which I found only worsened symptoms despite being called "gentle".Tastes fresh. Regular texture. Freshness lasts a reasonable while. Ingredients include SLS but this doesn't cause me any issue.

I switched to Sensodyne Repair & Protect Extra Fresh after my teeth started reacting to cold drinks like I’d poured liquid nitrogen directly onto the nerves.At one point even breathing in cold air felt disrespectful.First few uses, I wasn’t massively convinced. It’s toothpaste, not wizardry. But after about a week or so I realised I could drink cold water again without clenching every muscle in my body.The biggest difference for me was around the gum line and those random “zing” pains sensitive teeth give you for absolutely no reason. My teeth just felt calmer overall.Less reactive. Less dramatic.It’s got a decent fresh mint taste without feeling like your mouth has been pressure washed with mouthwash.Leaves your teeth feeling clean but doesn’t feel overly harsh or gritty either, which matters if your enamel’s a bit battered from whitening stuff, aggressive brushing or years of treating your teeth like rented equipment.Biggest pro is that it actually seems to work if you stick with it consistently. Not instantly, but noticeably over time.Only downside is the price because somehow toothpaste now requires a small mortgage agreement.Also, if your sensitivity is really bad, don’t expect miracles overnight - this is more “gradual repair crew arriving with tools” than instant pain shutdown.Overall though, it’s one of the few toothpastes where I’ve genuinely noticed a difference rather than just mint flavoured optimism in a tube!

My son had a sensitive tooth that no matter what the dentist couldn't fix. Then one of them recommended this stuff. He hasn't mentioned his tooth in months now. In fact if he does whine on about it again I'll know he hasn't been brushing his teeth the little scruff. Cheaper than Tesco and I didn't have to go into Tesco, which is always a bonus.

This toothpaste really does what was described. I have been using it for years and would recommend because my teeth and gum are so sensitive and this works good.

Really good toothpaste. I normally get a different sensodyne Toothpaste but thought I'd try this one. I might just have found an even better one as this tastes even better and seems to work good for sensitive teeth. Good brand and great toothpaste!

Best price from Amazon , if you are after a quality product at good price then .Normally £6 at Tesco . Occasionally £3.50 with club card price. Now buy from Amazon. Never going to buy from Tesco . Saving £2.50 .
