So far, so good. It was a gift, and the recipient loves it. These cotton hats are not as warm as a wool hat, but they are not as itchy, either. So far it has been a hit: fits nicely, is soft, doesn’t stretch out, stays on and keeps him warm. It’s worth mentioning that these are not huge hats- they seem to be designed to fit a little closer; so if you have tons of curly hair or dreads this might be tight on you. The recipient has really short hair and it fits snugly.We’ll see if anything changes when it is washed. I’ll update if there is drama.

I love this hat so much. I’m trying to wear pure fabrics and not blends. Especially trying to avoid anything unnatural / plastic based. Which is a surprising amount of clothes.It’s thick and durable. Washes well. May shrink slightly but it goes back to a nice snug fit. Versatile/plain enough that I can wear it while working if need be. The lining is the same on the inside as the outside. Money.

Not good if you're a guy with an average sized head or larger because heavy cotton doesn't stretch like the acrylic material these garments are normally made of. Natural fibers aren't worth head constriction. The notion that there is a one size fits all is bogus. I had to give mine away.

Nice beanie. The Charcoal color is a nice neutral alternative to black. The quality is good. I bought one for me and one for my husband. I read a lot reviews complaining that the hat fell apart after washing. Anyone that cares to know the basics of laundering to increase longevity of garments would know that you need to either wash beanies by hand (just as you would wash cashmere/wool/bras and other delicates) OR place it in a mesh bag. I no longer wear wool, but when I did, wool beanies, regular beanies, wool/cashmere sweaters, - all garments that were small or delicate went into a mesh bag before washing to protect them from the harsh washing machine agitation. Asking for a refund after you washed it, or wore it for a few months, is dishonest. I hope anyone reading this review will ignore the bad reviews and feel confident to buy this great Beanie. The tag says 100% cotton.

I bought this as a gift for my grandson. I really don't think it will fit his head. The color and construction are nice; it's thick and not flimsy. Those are the pluses. However, it barely goes on my own head, and there isn't much stretch. Good thing he has younger brothers with smaller heads; if it doesn't fit, he can pass it down.

First off, let me say that I purchased this as part of the Amazon Review Trader program, through which I received a discount. I love it. It is cushy and cottony and warm; it is a little big because I do have a small head lol, but I just fold up and it is perfect. 100 percent cotton, ribbed and so warm over my ears. I want to buy five more. The material looks a little wrinkled because I wear it every day in the Pacific Northwest and shove it into my purse. none the worse for wear.
