It came folded in half-twice inside a clear/plastic/sealed-bag, inside a slender/cardboard-manufacturer’s box packaging, and a loosely-packed very small/black-scrunchie (didn’t notice item until it fell out when I shook box upside down, just in case, right before discarding packaging) w/ a piece of clear-tape on the open-end. It’s more like the silicone mats used for baking sheets. **Q: So you can use this in the oven up to 450 degrees?** A: I do not use this in the oven. I only use it on the table for mixing and rolling dough. **Q: Does the grip work on wooden surface?** A: I haven't tried on a wood surface, this mat is awesome **Q: Does it curl up over time?
