Love the Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip effects and it's easy to setup, various beautiful gradient color effects can be set on the Philips Hue app, connection with Philips Hue Bridge are very stable, works well with Google Assistant. Smart lighting is already in the consumer market for almost 10 years, I truly hope Philips Hue products price can be more affordable, it's too expensive still compare to other brands which has similar features. Glitches out with wrong colours in a couple of places, would not recommend at all. A cheap £5 lightstip looks better than this light win white mode with a green or pink section over some of the LEDs

This is worth the extra, to get the Gradient version. The colour transition is much more pleasant. The strip is excellent quality, it’s easy to trim. Functionality via the app is superb. It looks a hundred times better than cheaper strips. It doesn’t stick very well though, keeps unpeeling itself. Will have to purchase third party tape for this.

As far as lighting like this goes, this is really the top-end. You won’t find much in a similar price range and be aware that cheaper alternatives do exist; despite this, this is a very good product. The quality of the colours and brightness of the light strip as a whole goes unmatched with anything else I’ve seen before. If you can afford it then I’d honestly go for it. Note: when I first received the product, it came damaged. I tried plugging in extensions and the port basically fell off, but Amazon replaced it next day

Really good light which we used for behind a picture. We had to curve it loose at the corners otherwise you can damage it. A good length for what we needed it for. It did away the need for a table lamp, and instead gives a modern look. Can’t wait to change the colours for a Halloween look.

I have many Hue products. Including many of these. While clearly they are over priced for what they are, the system does work well. With the system limitations taken out! Unfortunately there does seem to be a manufacturing issue right now with the cutting point markings being in the wrong place, cutting them damages the light causing some of the light to fail or have problems with certain colours. I ordered two which the same problem happened. Its not an error on my part, I have installed many of these already with no issues. On closer investigation I could clearly see the cut line was off by around 3mm - 4mm, hence cutting causing problems. The danger here is you may have issues with warranty claims where you are blamed so something to be aware of. Potencially great product, but should be £5 cheaper minimum for what it is.
