Perfect replacement excellent product!!

It was easy to remove and replace my old metal cable with this synthetic rope. It took a matter of minutes and I was back in business. It works well when pulling trees and branches out of the rough and into the clearing, or when dragging a widowmaker onto the forest floor. The isolator, hook, and red strap all do their job well. I use each every time I'm winching. If switching from metal cable to synthetic rope, be sure to also switch your fairlead. This is critical.

fit quite nicely on my Can-Am Commander 4500 pound winch. I’ve always use synthetic rope’s rather than cable and just needed to swap out the cable that my new can am purchase came with. Hardest part was removing the kinked up, bent and frayed steel cable, which is exactly why you should not have cable on a winch, especially at this reasonable price for synthetic rope.

I've had alltop on my winch and I've got quite a few pulls off of it I have no idea how old it is because it came on my unit the synthetic group finally broke but only because of an accident of me being in reverse while trying to pull myself up a hill whoops... so I ordered a new one for my unit and it's made in China have no idea if the old one has been made in China either but kind of discouraging but we'll see what happens

Nice upgrade to my side by side winch.

I have an elevator i built in my home. The hoist had steel cable which I triple lined. I used to run cranes. I decided to switch it with synthetic rope. I put a 6000lb winch on my side by side withe synthetic rope and it amazed me how strong it is. After spooling on the synthetic the operating noise is far less than it was with steel. Also it winds better because when a new course starts on the drum it doesn't rub on the last wind. With triple line rig the load capacity it more than 50,000lbs. I only needed 500lbs but who want to take the chance of a failure if your in a car that falls.

I own a 2022.5 Can Am Defender HP10 Limited 6x6. The factory Can Am 4500 lbs with steel line and roller fairlead is a great start, but Ive seen far too many accidents with steel cable snap back to wish it upon myself. The only issue is the drum requires you to run it through a tube and fasten it with a set screw. So I had to cut the standard metal tab end, melt the edges to prevent fraying. I then wrapped it three times on the drum and back through the tube, basically knotting it. This way the line would have to pull the whole drum before slipping the line. Rope seems very similar in feel and weight to my old Amsteel Blue lines from 10 years ago. The hook is very nice with a few pits in the material. Only thing I wished it came with was a rubber stop, to protect your aluminum Hause fairlead. Otherwise a perfect set.
