Saved my mainsail, saved a day on the boat! This is a well stocked kit, with a surprisingly good collection of needles and gear. I had to resew heavy webbing which holds my sail to two broken sliders (which help hold it to the mast) and I was very happy and impressed with the variety and quality of needles, along with supporting tools like finger protection, as well as the awl and thread. I had the kit on the boat for weeks without using it, and pulled it out in an emergency, not expecting much, but was happily surprised. This is surely a good kit for the price.

Great set, purchased specifically to repair my 30 year old leather jacket. The waxed threads were perfect to re-attach buttons, very heavy duty. Curved needle made repairing the pocket and sleeve much easier than using a regular sewing needle. Highly recommended set to do some repairs on leather jackets. Should last for years to come.

Great little kit if you have to do any small leather or upholstery repair. It has all the tools you'll need and enough thread to work with in 4 different colors. I only needed a little, so I didn't want to buy a 5000 yard spool. This was actually cheaper. Less than $8, where the spools of heavy duty waxed thread I looked at were $10 or more. It may be awhile before I need it again, so the handy little pouch keeps everything together for next time.

They are cheap but that’s why I bought it, only needed it for the small occasional project. Case is really nice though, and awls are satisfactory. Needles in tube are very brittle, so be aware of that.

leather kit is great for someone that just needs to have on hand for once in awhile or has a small repair. tools are of good quality.

I was just admiring the items in this package. It looks very complete and I believe it will be very helpful to me in my leather and heavy canvas repairs. Price was reasonable for the many quality items. I have not yet used it, but everything looks to be of good quality. Update—used it last night! The needles are sharp and strong. They’re much better than regular sewing needles for heavy duty repairs. They do draw blood if you’re klutzy like me, so be careful! The thread is nice and strong but doesn’t work with the included threader. Fortunately the eyes on the needles are large enough the threader can be saved for regular sewing needles. I really find this to be an excellent product! I’m very impressed by the quality and price!

Very good for small to medium repairs on leather and hard nylon. Highly recomended for fabric repairs.

The metal they use is weak. I already snapped a needle on repairing my leather couch. But for the price it's a decent deal. The String seams to be good quality. The kit does not hold the everything in place so when u open it be ready for it to fall out everywhere.

the product was as expected. but the hook awl as described in the case was missing, if that can be sent to me at the earliest. thank you

One of the sewing awls that shown in pictures and descriptions is missing.. also the sewing threads are small.. I returned it..(Ordered from other seller got it for cheaper price and all tools are there as mentioned in pictures)..so not a fair selling

Very disappointed, One main tool.hooked Awl and threadler is missing ordered 3 times same problem need that tool please send it complained to Amazon too Seller not reachable

One of the awls (which is the main reason I picked this kit) is missing, only two came with the kit. And the needle threader which is shown in the product pictures but not included in the description wasn't included.
