2K NBA 16 - PlayStation 4

It's been a while since I've played on a gaming console. I own the Ps2, but never played one of the NBA2k games. This Christmas I decided to purchase a Ps4 basically because of this game. After seeing previews for this version of Nba2k, I couldn't wait to play it. First off, the graphics are unreal. Im a Cav's fan, so being able to play as my favorite team is AWESOME. The main feature for me is the My Career mode, where you get to go through the entire path of becoming a NBA star. Its really cool because it makes you work to get to the top. It took a little time to figure out all the controls, but watching the tutorials were extremely helpful. As you continue through the journey, you earn coins to upgrade your player. This is a realistic player, that gets better through the time you put into the game. Needless to say, I LOVE this game. The only issues I had was when I first created my player, it kept deleting every time I would start the game again. It took me about 3 times to learn that you have to create a my player through the online server. Once I created it through, it was saved. The second issue was an error I got saying that my player account had expired after 3 days of playing. Apperantly I didn't varify my email address when they "sent me" an email to confirm it. Problem is, I never got the email, and was never told to varify. That was a scary feeling because I was afraid that yet again, I lost everything that I put in a lot of work for. Thankfully a message board had said to just re-plug in the same info (birthday/email address) that I used to initially create my player, and that it would go back to normal. So far, so good. Not sure if it's a bug, or if for some reason I didn't get the email to varify, but a lot of other people had the same issue. Other than those 2 issues, this game is AMAZING. I am having such a blast playing it, and I highly recommend it! So happy with my purchase!!!

I know the seller knew this game was defective when they sold it too me. That's why it was cheaper than the others. The seller should be ashamed. The Game continuously has error messages. From day one my ps4 could not read the disk. Then after I cleaned the disk with a cleaning solvent it worked but does not have full functionality. TERRRIBLE on the sellers behalf.

Definitely my favorite sports game yet, very good graphics and gameplay. Its a lot of fun online, except its frustrating that low level/skill players are matched up with experts on the mypark. It makes for a boring/annoying game both ways. The loading times are pretty annoying, and the post game commentary by shaq, Kenny, and Ernie gets very boring and annoying fast. Hopefully in 2k17 there will be better loading times, and better online matchmaking. The mycarreer was alright, I skipped the cutscenes because they were boring. My main issue with it, is that you have to go to practice in order to level your character up more, which means more loading time and hundreds of grind it out games in order to get off days. A better solution would either be more off days, or just eliminate practice because nobody likes it anyways. Seriously 2k, nobody wants to play 200 games just for the off days. It would be way better if your character leveled up based on your performance in game, like based on your players stats and such. Overall its a great game, and I feel like 2k17 has a lot of potential to be the best basketball game yet, just please fix some of the boring/annoying parts of the game!
