Awesome
Perfect forge for beginners. I just got mine and love it. It’s very good quality!

Crude, small, but does the job!
If you're expecting a highly finished piece of first-world industrial craftsmanship, this may not be for you. However, if you want a very portable, effective, tiny forge that fires up quickly for small projects, demos, etc. this thing is the nuts! Will easily reach welding temp (for smaller projects), can double as a cook stove with the folding pot supports, and otherwise, handy enough that one could (almost!) backpack with it! Obviously, not a forge for swords, gates, felling axes. and may work some mods to it after more use but this forge definitely will fill a niche for me. (Have been smithing since the 1980's and have several modern and historic-type forges of varying sizes).

Blacksmith blower
Brings extreme heart to forge.

Poorly manufactured
Awful product, the air hole is not completely cut, the side door doesnt even close, and the foundation piece is tilted so you must hold it down with one hand or spend more time mounting it somewhere in your home or work area. I would not recommend this forge and rather you buy a volcano brand that used propane instead of coals. In my opinion, it is much much safer and a whole lot faster to get ignited snd ready to forge.

Ok for the money but not great.
Putting it together was a bit of a challenge because the holes didn’t line up well for the screws. The legs didn’t come with feet like the picture. I am having to shim one of the legs to make it level. Other than that it works pretty good. Was just a little disappointed but for the cost I guess it makes sense.

Pretty good!
I use this along side my propane forge and while both have singed my hair pretty badly, I’d say if you aren’t looking to be fighting the fire, don’t use something like lump charcoal. I’m more of a coast efficiency man, so I’ll just let it burn me. All and all it’s constructed great and works perfectly. I mounted mine onto an old stool (totally not thinking it through when mounting something that would reach a few thousand degrees on wood) with some steel and screws, works good. This is perfect for smaller projects, but if you lean it on something or lay your metal on top of a massive mound of coal you could get bigger ones to work, just make sure to bring a shield, the air out put throws sparks up if you’re using lump coal. Seriously, if you don’t wanna get your hair burnt, holes seared into your pants no matter how many you have on, or have a make-out session with flying sparks, use some cleaner coal like coke. It’s more money, and I’d rather suck face with something burning my lips than spend an extra 20-30 dollars, but if that’s something you don’t wanna do you can get better coal.

Tiny with a poorly built blower assembly
It's very small comes with an open ended wrench the wrench is 12 and 13mm however the bolts that came with it are 10mm. The hand blower works but sounds like it's already worn out. I don't expect it to last long. The Bowl is sturdy but small it will be just big enough to heat small knives. It's very disappointing I will share images once I have it in use

Super pleased!
This little forge took me about 30 minutes to put together. I can tell you that the pre drilled holes for the legs don’t line up exactly which makes it not truly level but it is certainly good enough and doesn’t fall over. The pipe to blow air through only had one pre drilled hole and looked like it was supposed to have two. Again, it still stays securely on with just one. I filled the kettle with kindling and coal and Kit the fire. The blower glides really well and is effortless. In like using this by far more than an electric blower. I had this set on top of another full size forge and this blower worked just as well as the electric. I was with a group and everyone admitted it. I covered the hot coals with fresh coal to the top, ran the blower to stoke it and then left for lunch. Over an hour later it was still hot and held the heat well. I plan to take this with me when RV’ing to use outside and at home for all sorts of projects. Thanks Therese W

Schade

Good little unit. Nice to work w/ for pendents, a little small but manageable for rrspike knives./.
We've always used a propane forge, charcoal is more challenging.
