Stopped working within a couple of months -- dead brick now.
I bought this product as it was a really good value per Mb for data archiving -- and it worked fine initially -- however within a couple of months, and only two or three boots/usages (since I backup only once a month), it has now stopped working -- cannot be even seen in Seagate ToolKit, nor in Windows File Manager nor in Computer/HardDisk Management. What a waste of money this was!!

It is not Seagate Firecuda drive and is only 5400 rpm instead of 7200 rpm. Not as advertising.

I bought this HDD 4 TB and installed games on it after reading reviews. But to my surprise games installed on external storage (HDD) did not work and I got message while try to launch the game that "this game needs more faster storage space" which clearly is contradicting with descriptions provided. For me... I would rate 2 for not working or not being compatible with new Gen Xbox consoles. You could save games on this hard drive but could not play game from it

Very bad quality and no warranty
Bought the item in July 2023 used barely and later in Nov 2023 stopped working, when went to amazon advised to check brand page, when checked brand page found the warranty expired two months after purchase which is frustrating

External power supply but supplied with multiple worldwide adapter attachments so works in all countries. Hybrid so copying files very very fast. Software to control the LED’s. Cheaper by $100 than similar in my country. Fast shipping. Genuine Seagate. A big thumbs up.👍 Advertised as 8tb but only 7.2 tb available.👎

Connecté en disque externe a un synology ds916+ pour backup synology et dossiers partagés. Fonctionne bien. L éclairage led configurable est fun. J ai choisi l arc en ciel qui va et vient. Rien à redire. Qualité seagate. J ai eu beaucoup trop de problèmes avec mes disques western digital. Je n ai plus que des seagate même dans mon nas, et aucun problème depuis des années maintenant. Marque fiable.

Works well with my Xbox Series X for storing games. For a HDD it is fast, and a reliable way to store and play Xbox One and 360 games, plus as a place to store Series X games. Be aware that an external HDD or SSD like this can only store Series X games, to play them you need a Storage Card or the internal drive.
