I ordered this to replace an older Sannce dvr that had started failing. This one has some better options including the ability to add IP cameras. I'm still using the older cameras (which aren't great) so I can't comment much on the nightvision as the old cameras aren't great with IR NV. The ability to setup schedules, motion zones and notifications is great. I've got most of my cameras set up for motion sensing and only recording during motion activitation. Overall,its a good unit for a cheap price and has some really good options.

Considering I have dealt with this type of electronic device for about 10 years the setup of the DVR was super easy and the quality of the video feed is better than the original DVR! The downside is the app is incredibly inconsistent. First time around got it to work fine on my Android S10, my wife's ancient Motorola went through fine, got the access to the video feeds setup on both our iPAD's with some grief but nothing major. Strange thing is the app stopped working on my Samsung S10 (out of the blue) figured I would just re-install it, now I can access the video feeds on my wife's cell and the two iPADs but not my Samsung. When I go to install it (on my Samsung) the captcha will never allow access!

I've included night vision and day time clips from camera app itself. App is easy to use. Setup was simple and required no extra instructions. Everything included except for hard drive which is easily obtained and instruction booklet includes directions to install. Vivid pictures. Easy playback. Only complaint is app sometimes crashes but rebooting of system fixes issue! Mounting is easy. Do recommend installing under a canopy or buying one to keep cameras safe and clean. Cameras must be installed with cords protected. We drilled 3/8 hole through wall and ran cords through and filled with caulking/sealant and installed cameras outside with no exposed cords and so far has worked great!

Price was reasonable. After hooking it up it was either defective, has a bad hdmi output or does not work with my Swann cameras that said specifically would be a perfect match for the Swann cameras that I had. I hooked it up and it was night time and the camera pictures were pixelated in green swirls and some areas all green and fuzzy picture. I tried a new hdmi cable with no change.

Very clear view, records everything and give alerts to motion. Great system for the price

This device will not work with Blue Iris. Have used several other dvr/nvr's with no prob l em. After weeks of trying, have not been able to get this device to work with Blue Iris.

A drop in replacement for an earlier model Sannce that failed after several years. Once the cables were connected and the hard drive transferred over, everything worked as expected. It automatically detected the different camera types and used them at their maximum resolutions. It was easy to add to the existing client software on both Windows and Android.
