I read some reviews before I bought this camping table that said it was hard to stretch and snap together. but since I already had the chairs by the same company which are great to assemble, I risked buying it. I had no problem setting it up. I just love it.

Like others here experienced, assembly was an issue. It seemed impossible to attach the top to the frame, as the fabric seemed too short to reach between the crossbars, no matter how hard I tried to pull it. But I solved that eventually. What I did was to slide the ends of the fabric top off the crossbar, leaving the crossbar through the main center part. With the ends off, I was able finally to attach the crossbar to the frame, as shown in my picture. I just let the table sit like that for a half hour, and that was enough to get a bit of extra stretch in the fabric. Then I removed the crossbar from the frame, slipped the tabletop ends back onto the crossbar, and at that point, I could attach the crossbar with the full top, as designed. After this, I detached and re-attached it a few times with minimal effort. Once assembled, the table seems pretty nice. The cupholders are a welcome feature, although they are small and probably can't hold anything wider than a 12 oz soda or beer can. The center of the table is mesh, which should let water drain in the event it gets rained on. And the tautness of the fabric top means that items are unlikely to topple over or spill. While I hope to use and enjoy this table going forward, the out-of-box experience was so frustrating that I can't go any higher than 3*.

Terrific table, wonderfully lightweight, easy to assemble and take apart. Please disregard the reviews that whine about assembly -- truly, it's easy. What IS a tad troublesome is figuring out how the collapsed frame slides back into the bag neatly. But just practice a few times before you head outdoors with it, and fitting it all back in the bag gets easier. This is a dandy product.

Simple assembly, easy to use. Just read the directions for assembly steps the first time around.

I didn’t think to try what Mark119 did. Instead I took the clips off the ends and cut a quarter inch off on end. probably not quite as taunt as designed, but still works. I know I’ll never put 50lbs on it that’s for sure. Happy Camping….

Assembly is hard, but taking it apart (it is not foldable) takes just as long. Why would you create a camping table that is not foldable?

Was it us? Or is it an engineering or design flaw? We could not effectively get the canvas portion to stretch to fit. We may try wetting it to see if that allows us to pull it and comp,eye the installation. Kept thinking how this would not be fun if having to do on a camping trip.
