But if you want the camera to be turned on at any time while the system is running, you can consider setting an IO port button and writing a script that controls the camera turn-on command from the Io port **Q: Does it support vga adapter? some do.** A: Sorry , it does not supports VGA Adapter. **Q: Does it work with a gopro?** A: It takes HDMI as an input. It support 1080p@30fps. 30 fps might be a little slow for high quality gopro, but as long as you can change the capture settings, it should work. I don't have a gopro, but I hooked it directly into a video card on my computer. Worked with no problem without changing any settings. **Q: Does this adapter come with the cable to connect to the Pi?** A: The white ribbon cable in the picture comes with it and it connects to the Pi.
