My kid asked to see the box to figure out what to do with it. And when it was suggested "you can do anything you want with it" It was the prettiness of the product that enabled my kid to attempt and succeed in transforming it to multi play use. If in a set, how many?** A: They are sold in a set of 6. Note the word "mini" in the description. I failed to see that and expected to see a size to fit an eighteen month old. Had a good laugh at myself. My grandkids liked them anyway. **Q: Are these strong enough to be stood on?** A: I suppose it depends on how much the person weighs but generally I would say yes. I am not advising it because depending on the surface you have them on it could be hazardous. My son stands on his easily. I can use them to do push-ups on and they feel sturdy. **Q: Are these dishwasher safe?** A: I don't see why not - I would put them on the top shelf and maybe pull them out before the drying cycle bc the heat can be very hot. We put small people and dolls in them to simulate a playground toy, use them as turtles, try to walk on them as stones, let them simulate "crocodiles in the water" in our game, put snacks in them, sort the pixel buttons and other things into them by color, play with them in the bathtub (they float)...
