How high does the handle stick off from the mount?** A: There is plenty of room for your fingers. The center of the handle has a little over one inch of depth and the usable width is about four inches. **Q: What is the width of the handle where it attaches?** A: It is 1.0 inch by 1.75 inch. It is very well made and it is not whimppy. I am able to open my 8 foot high overhead insulated garage door without a problem. It should be attached to an area that is sturdy and can support the handle when pressure is applied to it. **Q: What is distance between the screw holes?** A: Horizontally the distance is app. 1" **Q: Do stainless steel screws com with the handle?** A: No they do now.
