Awesome gauge to have. Easy to hook up. Easy to setup what setting u want. Super simple & clean looking. Will buy more.

Works for AFR on 04 Rx8
I bought this because I wanted to monitor AFR on my 04 Rx8. The info online was scarce. Seems most people install their own aftermarket sensors or dont even attempt to read AFR unless their car is boosted. AFR can easily detect a giant vacuum leak. Lean condition is terrible on the engine and this gauge gives me extra piece of mind that a loose rubber hose is not gonna kill my engine. The gauge itself is rather finncky. Its the only one on the market like it so you cant do much about it. It has a light sensor to dim the display; I could easily tap into the headlight circuit if they supplied a wire for that. Also it really does need constant power. The manual states they use some rules to determine whether to display the gauge or go into sleep mode. This means that if you try to add a switched power source, you lose the memory feature of being able to see the last PID when you turn your car on and off. It really doesn't like being unplugged and seems to forget certain PID's until some unknown car on and off cycling allows it to relearn. Overall good gauge but wish there were better options out there.

Simple and easy to use for 2012+cars
Easy to use. Best for 2014+ cars due to more data avaliable. Instructions not included. Cord isn't very long but can be extended. Only reads OEM PID's which means its limited by your car manufacturer. Most cars it will read coolant temps, intake, battery volts, codes, RPM etc. Also wideband AFR, oil pressure, fuel pressure if your car stores that info. Only reads 1 thing at a time so its not a multi display. Gotta go to the vendor website for the instructions and code meanings...

Did NOT work with a 2002 Silverado :/
It’s a good gauge it just didn’t work with my 2002 Silverado 2500hd, but I tried it on my dad’s 2021 Nissan Titan and it worked just fine and looked awesome, all setting working etc. Definitely bummed out but oh well Ill find another option, just wanted something to verify my gauge cluster was working right with my new cam

Works Well
I was able to plug it into the OBD II port, just like the product said. I got it because my 2022 Volvo has no temperature gauge, which drives me nuts. This unit gives me extremely precise readings of the car's engine coolant temperature. It also gives information on lots of other elements of the engine, but I only use it for the engine coolant temperature. I bought it with the GlowShift Universal Black Single Gauge Swivel Dashboard Pod and it all works well together (although I had to widen the hole in the pod for the very thick rubberized cord that runs from the gauge to the OBD II port).

Doesn’t work.
Figure I would try it out, rand everything and to my disappointment the gauge didn’t work. It just says obd 2 then flashes obd 2 again and goes black. Being my car is an 02 with Can OBD 2 I figured it would work just fine. No luck. So to those who buy it plug it in first run the car and make sure it works before you spend the tome doing the install.

Kinda cool but also kinda pointless. I returned the gauge and bought a dedicated gauge for the info I was looking for.

Ottimo strumento multifunzione, peccato che non legge tutti i protocolli della OBD2. Le OBD2 è uno standard ISO, ma ogni casa automobilistica usa un suo protocollo, i protocolli sono 5. La mia auto è una marca Italiana e usa probabilmente un protocollo europeo, questo strumento non legge questo tipo di protocollo. Evidentemente legge solo il protocollo Americano (statunitense). purtroppo è un grave errore che la AEM Elettronics non abbia pensato ad uno strumento OBD2 compatibile per tutti i protoccoli della presa OBD2.
