3L Ice Bucket

This is a good quality, stylish, effective well-insulated and practical ice bucket. The lid fits well and the ice bucket comes with a strainer which keeps the ice out of the water as it melts. The melting process is fairly slow but although the listing suggests that it stays “frozen solid for a long time”, this is a bit of an exaggeration. “Frozen solid” suggests no melting at all which isn’t a realistic expectation of an ice bucket. So it is fair to say that the ice stays cold for a long time but it will inevitably gradually melt, particularly if the lid is repeatedly removed to get the ice out. But overall, the bucket is amongst the better ones that I’ve experienced from the perspective of slowing the melting of the ice. The carrying handle seems relatively robust, certainly sufficient to carry it from one end of the house to the other. The capacity of the bucket is good although I probably wouldn’t put a bottle of wine in it as suggested in the listing… something slightly larger would be more suitable for that purpose. The bucket and lid are easy to keep clean with the smooth moulding of those components making the washing process easy. Also, having had this bucket for over three years now, I can confirm that even over time and with reasonably regular use there is no rusting or other damage. It looks as good and works as well as it did when I first got it. The bucket is accompanied by an ice scoop and ice tong. Both are quite functional although made of quite lightweight metal; they do the job but I feel that the quality of the ice bucket is somewhat better than the quality of these accessories. So to conclude, I’m pleased with this product. It comes at a good price for the quality, has a good capacity and does its intended job pretty well.

Good sized ice bucket. Helps to stop ice from melting quickly, and saves you having to walk back and forth to the freezer. Simply just fil it up with ice and put on the table. Must have for parties, to keep them drinks cool and refreshing, especially in the summer.

Excellent ice bucket with good fitting lid. Looks quality and has both a scoop and tongs. Large enough to keep wine bottle cool if needed.

I like the look and feel of this set. It keeps the ice intact for quite a few hours, of course the ice melts gradually because its not a freezer. It holds a good amount of ice for when friends and family are visiting, without opening the freezer door all the time. The lid seals tight on the top.
