I know that everyone has different preferences in taste and texture, but this does not taste good to me. It has an almost artificial taste, and the texture is weird. I'm guessing this is due to the cheese being shelf stable. It was the fact that it was shelf stable that was a huge selling point for me. I was prepping for hurricane season and needed nutritious snacks for the family. Out of the 4 of us, only one of us likes these. I've been letting him eat them, and when they're gone I will look for an alternative.

The "cheese" is quite chalky when you bite into it. The taste is dry and unmemorable with very little cheese taste. This is not what I would expect from such a great company as Wisconsin Cheese is. On a positive note the packaging is great.
