If you're reading this, odds are you are a technically inclined, capable and competent individual. That being said, you will need to check the connections on these before use. Mine came with poor solder joints on 2 ends, causing my LCR to fail calibration intermittently. Once I took them apart, installed some nice 1/4 inch wire braid, remade the connections, and what you see is the nice, clean result. The clips themselves are very good quality, as are the 4 transmission lines (RG174U=50-Ohm multi-strand coax with 2-layer foil shield + multi-strand outer conductor). I toyed with the idea of replacing the RG174 with some high $ solid core RG174 while it was apart, but decided the trouble/benefit ratio was too small. I have these mounted in my DE-5000, and have never had a problem with open/short calibration since I've fixed them up. Great leads. Buy a set.

I bought this along with an extra TL-21 to make the De5000 lead extension. After soldering it up, I could not get it to pass calibration. After using a continuity tester on EVERYTHING I could think of with the leads I thought I better check the TL-21 because the other TL-21 I got with the meter worked fine. I found that in the TL-21, the solder bridge to the blade that connects to ground was NOT soldered, it appears that the solder bridge that should be there did not stay on the blade PCB. After soldering that back together everything works fine, and I now have functional 2 foot long Kelvin leads that calibrate properly.

The best upgrade to make the de-5000 even better in all ways possible.

Just modify the lead attachment (the one with the 2 inch leads on it) recalibrate and it works well.

These were recommended for an application in making accurate LCR measurements. They work well. The spring clasp tension is firm but not tight. I like the wiring arrangement from the clips themselves. Very satisfied.

Well made, and greatly increased the utility of a DER DE-5000 LCR meter. Some disassembly/re-assembly required to replace the tiny alligator/crocodile/T-Rex clips that were included with the meter. Highly recommended.

The leads arrived in good order, and have been put to use on the DE-5000 LCR meter. They work as they should, and shipping was fast.

Seam like a pretty decent set for the price. Look like and feel like they are well made. I don't have a lot of experience with testing to see if there are any issues, however.
