I’ve been needing to update since my old one got all dried out in the pan from being stored away for a few years. I think it’s always fun to have an oil base kit for your make up arsenal so that when you have last minute parties that you’d like to attend, you can always pull this out and get creative with! The colors are all very bright and are thick in contrast. I do find that you need to use a lot of setting powder to set the make up though and it’s always best to go back in with some eyeshadow to bring out the depth in the colors. It does take some practice and a few videos to watch to make sure you’re using the pallet well. This kit came with some brushes as well and they work well with the oil based paints. But you will prob have to replace them soon cause I noticed some of the brushes were feeling loose, but it’s an easy fix with so gorilla glue. So not a huge issue. This face paint is great quality, and the price for the bundle is great. The paint is creamy, but not too creamy that you will overuse it. The tray is sturdy plastic with a and the pans are high enough so the colors won't smear into eachother. The colors are highly pigmented and spread as easy as softened butter. It's a full coverage formula, so you won't need to use as much. Saving money is definitely a win for me! There are so many solid colors, and the glitters are beautiful on top of any of them or alone. You WILL need a fine translucent powder to set the face paint so it won't smudge or smear. The stencils are stickers, which sucks because you can't reuse them. But it's fine I plan on using them until I can't. The brushes are more for painting on canvas or paper but they will work fine for my unprofessional use. I got this for me and my daughter to play around with and I love it already!
