Looks good and works good

I’ve seen a lot of ‘on air signs’ and they can go for £100 and more! I wanted something way cheaper but still maintained good quality. After some searching I saw this and thought I’d give it a go. It arrived pretty quickly and in a simple box. Plugged it in and it worked fine. You can either use batteries or plug it in. I chose to plug it in as I didn’t want to keep replacing batteries. I have it hooked up to a smart plug so I can turn it on and off with Alexia. It’s a really nice light and it really fits the aesthetic of my work station. Just buy it! You won’t regret it :)

It is OK and does the job. Note that it is usbc or battery powered but is NOT rechargeable. You cannot use ordinary AA rechargeable (NiMh at 1.2V) because it needs the 3 batteries to be a full 1.5V each. So you have to use either Alkaline throwaways - or if you want rechargeable it will have to be the 1.5V lithium rechargeables- quite expensive at £20 for 4. A bit more thought at design stage could have made it rechargeable or least able to run on 4 Alkaline OR rechargeable NiMh. I may take it apart and convert it to rechargeable and put a wireless remote in there.

Very nice quality & design. A neat size & easy to use. Nice option to use battery or cable to power it. We opted for battery & worked very well. A cute accessory for kids or a backdrop setting or "scene" for vloggers/influencers etc.

The sign looks exactly how you want it to, whether illuminated or not. The build appears to be sound and solid, however I did have some issues with the battery operation, the light only illuminated when I slightly extracted one of the batteries, which meant I could not have the battery cover in place as this pushed the offending battery back in and the sign once again didn’t illuminate. As this was going on the wall, the battery cover did not need to be in place so it works well and without issue.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it did feel very plastic and made cheaply… but overall it’s a fantastic gift that my son loves and it hasn’t broke! He uses it every time he makes a gaming YouTube video. I would recommend to anyone as a great gift idea for sure!

I hung this outside my basement door and I turn it on when I head down to record self tapes. My husband and daughter know when the sign is lit, do not enter! It's a great and fun way to let them know I'm working.

Genial muy lindo y funcional

Hung one of these on my door so my family knows when I am meditating or on a work-related call. Turn it on and they know to be quiet in the vicinity of my room. It runs on batteries or USB and is brighter than you'd expect. If the hallway lights are out this thing leaves a pronounced glow that is easily seen at a distance. Not a cheap single LED in other words.
