This book has a lot of good recipes to try including food drinks and desserts the book is of good quality and the printing is very clear

Great cookbook, amazingly put together, looks even better in person. All the recepies are straight from the historocal time period and location. Minus one star because most of the recepies contain ingredients that are either very hard to find or require certain cooking stuff that most people wouldnt already have. That isnt the fault of the book at all. I plan to make all of these one day itll problably just take a while to have access to all of the ingredients/tools

My partner and I have started cooking together and love the AC games and this book is so much fun! The recipes are all unique to the time period and place where the games take place and they look delicious! Good quality book and paper too

Good quality book with clear recipes.

Good purchase, the only bad thing is that it has scratches from use, but from then on everything is fine, if it were better cared for without stubs 10/10

This review is from the pov of a beginner cook and huge fan of the saga. Ordered the English edition, delivered in perfect condition to Brazil, and I ordered knowing that I will need to switch up the recipes a lot to fit the cuisine of my country, but no problems there. Amazing book! I was interested in it because I'm a fan of the saga, and as someone who is coming from the Horizon cookbook, I'm impressed. All the positives: the book is well organized, well formatted, and the pictures are gorgeous. The book is divided into time periods / protagonsits of the saga (you can check the full table of contents, with the recipe names, on the Assassin's Creed wikia). My impression is that there is an intention to present one entree, one main course, one dessert, and one drink for each section. The pictures for each recipe are amazing and very thematic, fans of the saga will recognize some elements used for the pictures here and there, as well as some recipe names. Not fans of the saga won't need to decipher which name is which that much, since under the name of the recipe it says exactly what it is (like the Bayou-Style Pie having the name chocolate chess pie under it). In general, even if you are not a fan, this is a well made and well organized cookbook. There is a nice glossary, an ingredients index, some pages with basic recipes to complement the other ones, and two nice pages of a visual guide for kitchen utensils. And the basic measures in the book, aside from cups and spoons, are grams and kilograms and milliliters instead of pounds or etc, which is something well adapted to Brazil. So yeah, the book is well equipped for anyone to start cooking. The only negative I can think about: if you are a fan of the saga coming from other cookbooks, you would expect it to be written from the "in-universe" narrative perspective, which is not the case. It is not a book with a little story in which the characters are writing about recipes they know, like the Horizon cookbook. To be honest, I wasn't expecting something like that much, many of those protagonists would have nothing to do with a cookbook anyway. But still, one more positive: on the other hand, if you are expecting this to have some lore or be more than just a book of recipes with a pretty theme, be happy, because each section brings a small paragraph about the assassin's life for that time period, narrated in third person rather than the in-universe first-person perspective, and there are pages with some nice artwork from the games. Even the three Chronicles assassins are featured in one of the sections, so the book does not ignore the lore. Anyway, amazing purchase, I will be trying many of those recipes for sure.

Livro simplesmente incrível. Qualidade gráfica excelente, capa dura linda e acabamento premium. As receitas são criativas, bem explicadas e totalmente imersivas no universo de Assassin’s Creed. Dá gosto de ler e de testar na cozinha. Item perfeito tanto para fãs da franquia quanto para quem curte livros de culinária diferentes. Chegou rápido e muito bem embalado. Recomendo demais.
