Great if you are pulling wire solo. Saves a lot of running back and forth. Simple and effective. Used it for a 40 foot run of 1/2 EMT with (6) 12ga wires in the bundle. Only needed to stop once due to a tangle.

As an electrician, protecting the wire insulation during a pull is critical, and this tool handles that job perfectly. Standard Fit. The design is excellent and tailored specifically for the US trade. It fits perfectly on standard 4-inch square boxes ("1900 boxes"). It snaps on securely and stays in place even when there is tension on the wire. It also works well with standard connectors and fittings, so you don't have to fight it to get it set up. Performance. It creates a smooth radius for the wire to glide over, preventing the sharp metal edge of the box from skinning the insulation. It makes a huge difference, especially if you are pulling wire by yourself, don't need a helper to guide wire into conduit. Value. The only downside is the price. It feels a bit pricey for a piece of plastic. However, when you compare it to the cost of having to re-pull a circuit because the wire got nicked on a sharp edge, it is worth the investment. Pros: Perfect Fit: Designed exactly for standard US 4" electrical boxes. Protection: Completely eliminates wire scraping/skinning on box edges. Secure: Stays in place during the pull. Cons: Price: A little expensive for a single tool, but it pays for itself in labor savings.
