VONLUCE Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light, Clear Glass Shade Light Fixture

A really cool light fixture. The fixture that came with the remodeled kitchen in our home, which still looks current in design and functionality, was about 27 years old. I replaced the counters with white quartz and the sink, so the kitchen is mostly white with stainless steel appliances, and touches of blue as in antique Delft plates etc. from my grandmother's collection. The first fixture I bought from Amazon was flush mounted. I thought it would be okay even though my husband did not like it. The glass part that fitted over the bulbs had a design to it that did not allow for enough direct light on the island. I eventually got this one which is perfect. Be sure to have a helper with strong arms as the glass part is quite heavy and it took a bit of time to line it up and screw it in. Does have a farmhouse vibe and allows for exceptional light when at full intensity. It is nice that it is dimmable. And I am quite satisfied. I am going to try to include a photo.

We have a beautiful pottery barn entryway chandelier (McCarthy 3-Pendant style) and wanted to find a coordinating flush mount for continuity in our mudroom / rear entryway. This gorgeous find was the nearly perfect dupe at a fraction of the cost of the PB flush mount from the same line. The only issue was the matte black finish, as we needed oil rubbed bronze. We bought a can of rust oleum primer in ORB to match the finish on the existing fixture, cleaned all the metal with rubbing alcohol, plugged the sockets to protect from overspray, and sprayed three thin coats on the matte black factory finish. Just hung it up and love the look! The shade is crystal clear and substantial in size, and the look is the perfect transitional piece for our home. It’s the last fixture we needed as we’ve slowly replaced the builder grade boob lights, and it turned out to be the crowning jewel.

I love this light fixture. I needed a fixture for my kitchen/dining that was close to the ceiling as a renovation rendered the previous teardrop fixture no longer centered over the table. I also needed it to match what I currently have over my counter. This fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to install, only requiring a second person when screwing the glass on last. Its size is perfect - big enough to provide plenty of light to the open space, but not so large that it looks awkward not centered over the table. The value was excellent - I found what looks like an identical fixture at one of the big box hardware stores for 4 times the price I paid on Amazon. We used warm white Edison bulbs and it’s just lovely!

Absolutely love this light fixture. It was put up in my room and it just brings this high end look and feel to the room. It was the finishing touch that I really needed. You cannot beat the price. The glass “shade” is open on the bottom so it is easy to clean with a longer duster.

These went far beyond my expectations. I ordered 12 in gold and replaced all of the lights in our entire home. Not one single light came damaged, defective or not as pictured. Not one. They are stunning. Lots of compliments and though it says modern, I would say timeless. I am so happy I pulled the trigger and got them. Having 3 bulbs makes them so perfect for lighting up any area. We chose clear Phillips 60 watt soft white led lights. They’re just beautiful! Stunning, beautiful and classy. Even with regular oak trim not painted white, they are still classy and do not make it’s surroundings look dated at all. They are a really good size. Perfect! Larger than most typical standard ceiling lights. The absolute best part is how easy to replace bulbs. Which we did several times trying to find the perfect bulb color and brightness. The inside part of the unit that bulbs attach to intentionally/purposefully tilts so you don’t have to take the glass off ever to change bulbs. I was really nervous about buying ceiling lights on Amazon because it seemed that to be that many reported theirs came damaged, used etc… All 12 were perfect.

It's a beautiful light, but my dad installed it for me and he had a lot of difficulty. The glass is very heavy and very large. The light is very high quality for the price, but I notice I have to clean it very often due to buildup of dust. functions well and provides a lot of light in my kitchen.

Nice light. Easy to install. Looks more expensive than the cost

It is so much prettier than photos can show. It’s really well made but I didn’t see directions. I have installed plenty of light fixtures so it wasn’t an issue. The little rubber gaskets to use between the metal ring and the glass were a pain to get in place but totally worth it. I love this. I put it in my mother’s walk in closet and 10 out of 10. Classy and it give a classic look but updated.
