Sound very good to me. **Q: I have a pearl African mahoghany (13 inch) that I usally tune high for a good pop sound. Will this head accentuate or repress the pop?** A: Yes!! Absolutely 100%!! I use this on all of my snares and its the only one you can tighten up all the way to get that pop!
