Reason that this is more expensive than ever ropes is because it's high quality rope. Don't make the mistake I initially made and bye cheap nylon rope to only have it snap sooner than later. The cheap rope I originally ordered actually said polyester but when it came it said nylon in the package. This is the real deal.

Have ordered this item before and is as good as reported.

I used this to guild my ham radio antenna. Worked great. Very well made.

This rope has "solid braid" in it's product description. Apparently, solid braided rope can be both a completely solid braid and also a solid braid around a fibrous core. This product has the fibrous core, which had I known, I would not have purchased. The picture is a little blurry and I had to put some effort into exposing that core to make it visible. That being said, the core is relatively small compared to the external braiding and it does not unravel easily. I chose to use it for securing items outdoors, and it seems strong and low stretch as the description states. I hope it stands up to the outdoor elements as well. I gave it 4 stars for the incomplete product information.
