Great bulk oat option
I make at least 2 loaves of honey oat bread a week. Each loaf takes 2.5C of oats. I also make overnight oats and oatmeal cookies fairly often. Buying in bulkis the most cost-effective option; these 2 64oz bags (4LBS) help me spend less, buy less often, and have consistently good texture, quality, and freshness.

Good old-fashioned Quaker oats… I go through one of these boxes every winter. A great cost-effective alternative for somebody who likes oatmeal.

A great and healthy breakfast food!
I have eaten a bowl of oatmeal every morning for the last 30 years except if I am traveling. I add blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, walnuts and a banana with soy milk. The quality is always consistent and keeps me full all day. A very healthy way to start the day and get necessary fiber. My only negative is that the price more than doubled recently.

Excellent value for your money !
I love oatmeal ! I have it in the morning, and sometimes on a cold night as a snack. I do not buy those instant oatmeal packets, due to all of the added ingredients. If I want apple cinnamon oats, I simply use these whole oats with either some diced apples, applesauce, apple butter, or a little apple juice with some cinnamon or apple pie spice. I love to experiment with flavors too. Making P,B, & J oatmeal or chocolate, using either some cocoa powder or a packet of hot cocoa mix, in. I make pumpkin pie oatmeal by adding some canned pumpkin and a little pumpkin pie spice into it. I eat it with Greek yogurt, or berries, or some mashed banana with a pinch of cinnamon. I probably have made 100 different flavors and combinations over the years. I love to make granola with it. We munch on that, for a healthy, crunchy snac. It's so versatile too, because you can add or leave out anything you want to. Helps cut back on chips and sweets consumption because it covers those categories. It's great as an ingredient in museli. Even savory, cooked by replacing some of the water with some seasoned tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce. It's a nice change for a side item. There are hundreds of ways to change up the flavors of your morning or overnight oats naturally and without "junk" added in. My husband's favorite is to use the oats to make no-bake peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. It's a great value for this box ! Eight pounds is a lot of oats, but when you eat it like we do, a monthly subscription is warranted.

Quality Memories
100% nostalgia. My grandmother lived with our family for most of her widowed life. She assumed duty for preparing my Kindergarten through third grade school breakfast ....and, would COOK Quaker Old Fashioned oatmeal just exactly to my liking. Many years ago. Today my breakfast and midnight snack is the same. Except for it's the new " mushy" overnight ... with golden raisins, blueberries, a pinch of cinnamon and vanilla...and lightly covered with almond milk! Quaker is the same. d
